COMPENSATION: None.

LEGAL AUTHORITY: Chartered, California Secretary of State, December, 1963;

Bylaws of the San Joaquin County Economic Development

Association approved by the Board of Supervisors May 26, 1987,

Board Order B-87-745, as amended.

MEMBERSHIP, 7 Members - 1 from Each Supervisorial District, 2 Members of the

QUALIFICATIONS, Board of Supervisors. Must be a San Joaquin County resident and

& RESIDENCY have an interest in the Economic Development of San Joaquin

REQUIREMENTS: County. Must have the ability to understand and participate in the

economic development activities and in the oversight of the

financial affairs of an economic development corporation.

TERM: 2 Year Terms. The terms of office of each appointed director shall

coincide with the terms of office of the appointing Supervisor.

DUTIES: As stipulated in the EDA Amended Bylaws.
