A TEQIP III sponsored One week online Faculty Development Programme has been organised by Applied Mechanics Dept of Govt College of Engineering Nagpur in collaboration with Civil Department of Govt College of Engineering Karad. The FDP has been coordinated by Dr Rajan Wankhede and Dr Amarsing Landge from respective institutes. All the experts of this FDP were exclusively from various IITs with spectrum of different advanced topics in Civil and Structural Engineering. The brochure of FPD is as below.

in an execellent activity. A TEQIP III sponsored One week online Faculty Development

Programme has been organised by Applied Mechanics Dept of Govt College of Engineering

Nagpur in collaboration with Civil Department of Govt College of Engineering Karad. The

FDP has been coordinated by Dr Rajan Wankhede and Dr Amarsing Landge from respective

institutes. All the experts of this FDP were exclusively from various IITs with spectrum of

different advanced topics in Civil and Structural Engineering. The brochure of FPD is as

B) Hands-on training program on FEAST-Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre

(VSSC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), SVR Infotech

A three day training program on Finite Element based software realized by Vikram Sarabhai Space

Centre (VSSC)/ Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has been organised on 22nd

to 24th Jan 2020.

The selected thirty students from 3rd

and 4th year BE Civil and Mechanical were only allowed to

participate in this programme. Er S Chaudhari from SVR InfoTech, Pune and Dr Kshitija Kadam, HoD

Applied Mechanics were the resource persons.

Govt College of Engineering Nagpur always proactively harnesses each and every possibility to

hold hands with industry. This college along with ARK infosolutions Pvt Ltd Mumbai has

organized a webinar on ‘ANSYS Applications for Civil Engineers’ for faculty and students of

Civil Engineering. The webinar was scheduled on 28.5.2020. From College side Dr Kshitija

Kadam, Dean R & D, Govt College of Engineering and from Industry side Pravin Manokar,

Regional Manager (HE)-West have coordinated the event. The webinar got huge response Pan

India. 200 plus registrations were the beneficiary. The flayer of the webinar is as follows.

The webinar has included all different aspects of civil engineering like, geotechnical engineering,

structural engineering, earth quack engineering, gas explosion, thermal analysis etc. The college
