Opaque identifier and the blogWith just the opaque identifier released, blog entries are readable but not writable. The edit option only becomes available when additional attributes, specifically the opaque identifier and the group membership information is released.

Anonymous commentsWith only the opaque identifier released, individuals may post comments while preserving their anonymity within the community.

Public comments and personal informationThe biggest change with the release of personal attributes is where Confluence will now record a person’s name, such as in a page comment.

Releasing three sets of attributesPages visible have gone up from two child pages as an unauthenticated user, six child pages with an opaque attribute, and now eight child pages with the release of an additional attributes containing specific permissions.

Group information releasedChanges at this point are more subtle, but new functionality becomes available as more attributes are released. In this case, with the group attribute information released along with the opaque identifier and other attributes, the user can now create a blog entry.
