76106 -- New Generator Run Hours alarm

Version 3.1.0 assists customers in tracking annual generator usage and avoiding excessive usage. New optional alarm thresholds added to the TripRunHours measurement provide a warning alarm for a specified high usage threshold and a major alarm for a specified very high usage threshold. These threshold alarms give customers opportunities to adjust test runs and avoid possible penalties tied to excessive generator usage.

Version 3.1.0 also adds an optional string parameter to set one or more dates when the TripRunHours will automatically reset. With this capability, customers can set the TripRunHours to reset annually, quarterly, or monthly as needed.

77091 -- Device Agent Support for SNMP-Capable Devices

Westell’s new DeviceAgent feature provides basic monitoring capabilities for SNMP-capable devices without updated support in an Application Package. The DeviceAgent feature accommodates the use of new devices not yet supported in an Application Package, allowing alarm monitoring for a prototype device, for example. In that way, the DeviceAgent feature complements Application Packages, although strictly speaking it is not part of one.

The DeviceAgent framework loads a DeviceAgent profile on the Remote. That profile specifies a list of SNMP traps to process and SNMP Object IDs to poll. Alarms can be created and cleared based on the SNMP traps and the values of the SNMP Object IDs.

The DeviceAgent provides basic monitoring capability for alarming only. Measurement and control functionality require that the device be integrated into the application.

A sample DeviceAgent configuration is shown below following 76776 -- Dantel WebMon Smart Site Controller.

Version 3.1.0 supports basic monitoring of the Dantel WebMon smart site controller.

The Dantel WebMon device is being monitored with a new application feature called DeviceAgent. This requires the Dantel WebMon DeviceAgent profile to be installed on the Remote. The network element is configured on the Remote, as seen in this example configuration:

76775 -- DPS Telecom Net Guardian

Version 3.1.0 supports the DPS Telecom Net Guardian alarm collector. The new Device Agent feature is used to support basic monitoring of this device.

This requires the DPS Telecom Net Guardian DeviceAgent profile to be installed on the Remote. The network element is configured on the Remote, as seen in this example configuration:

76778 -- Commscope ION-U firmware 1.75

Version 3.1.0 supports the Commscope ION U v1.75.0 firmware for DAS systems.

76098 -- ClearLink UDIT 2.0 DAS

Version 3.1.0 upgrades support for Westell’s ClearLink UDIT DAS conditioner and management system to the new Version 2.0 software. The version is compatible with Optima Prime alarming.

Enhancements

75996 -- Adding RunMode Status Point to all Generator types

Version 3.1.0 adds the RunMode status point to all generator types. The RunMode status point provides an analytic description of why a generator is running. Run modes include TestRun, EmergencyRun, MalfunctionRun, and MaintenanceRun.

RunMode status points are used in duration measurements of the generator run:

Version 3.1.0 supports user-configurable alarms provided by Eltek rectifiers, including a door alarm.

77045 -- Adjust Uptime Calculation for MobileAccess SC-450

Version 3.1.0 removes the pattern for alarm RHU No Optima Level on UL from the MobileAccess SC-450 DAS, addressing a situation which inaccurately exaggerated the downtime of certain Remotes serving DAS systems.
