Identifying our mission is, according to Rabbi Aryeh Nivin, the first step in leading a life of vibrancy and joy.
“When you intersect with your life’s purpose,” he explains, “you feel excitement.”
Some years ago, if you have asked me about what made me feel excitement, probably I would answer,
study and share knowledge at school and university “not to have a better resume, but to contributes to
have a better society” so, my daily mission used to be to learn in order to teach . I still enjoy this, because for me, education is the way for society’s progress ; Right now, my daily mission is AIESEC, peace and
fulfillment of humankinds potential , and yes, probably you would be thinking, “what an easy answer”, but
the true is that if you ask me today what makes me smile, what makes me feel excitement , the answer is
AIESEC, because here I can find happiness in all my and others’ personal and professional development
when I learn and share how can we make this world better.
So, What would matter the most at the end of my life? what am I doing to get it from now? These
questions allows me to answer what is my mission in life , in summary, I could define it as …
“Live doing something that makes me happy and provides me challenging personal and professional
growth empowering and teaching others (especially children) to be aware how priceless life is and
understanding how important education is , in order to contribute to others’ development to have a better and more conscious society”
I’m consent that this is not as easy as many of us would like to, but I'm sure, I believe , working for Peace
and Fulfillment of humankinds’ potential will contribute to my mission How?
My daily AIESEC task is do something that makes me happy and provides me challenging personal and
professional growth, I love to know that evry single action in AIESEC drives me to empower and teach to
others in simple conversations, coach, conferences , etc. To go deeper, with national allies, working for
AIESEC’s vision, I have the opportunity to show them all the responsibility that we have with the world,
making them more conscious about the beauty of world differences. On the other hand, with trainees
and EPs, they daily realized how priceless life is when AIESEC put them out of their comfort zone and can
experince diferent realities, finally with all the members of AIESEC in Colombia, in evry single one to one or
in a big plenary session, working for peace and fullfilment of humanskind potencila allows to me to
empower and teach them how priceless life is and understanding how important education is , in order to contribute to others’ development to have a better and more conscious society”
I'm just in love with this, to keep working hard, to take the challenge for A CHANGE that today is called
AIESEC.

“Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s Potential” 1
2 MY MISSION IN LIFE
MOTIVATION FOR THE ROLE
What makes me believe that “Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s Potential” is possible? Honestly?
Nothing.. I mean, I don’t need anything to believe that is possible, is like God, air or smells ( doesn’t
matter which religion’s God) you don’t need to see it or touch him to believe it is possible . I just
strongly believe that some day we will found it , I don’t know exactly when but I'm sure we are going
to do it and that today, daily , every AIESECer is contributing to that. Imagine that all those ideas
about fly wouldn’t have heard , imagine that the idea of have light wouldn’t have took into
account, imagine that no one would have believed in AIESEC in 1948.. Now imagine that in
Colombia, in 1958 had not been started this dream , that some members had not been taken the
first congress between 1971-1972, the first exchange in 1961 and the first expansion initiative between
1972 and 1973. AIESEC give to the world a Glocal Vision (Thinking globally, acting locally) and have
changed all those mindsets, paradigms, dominant materialistic point of view and this is what support my idea of believing, to know that today India and Pakistan AIESECers can be seated at the same
room and exist love and not war feeling between them, this create responsible leaders that are
aware about the importance of looks for that peace and fulfillment of humankinds potential, AIESEC
has showed me people change after an AIESEC experience, think different and make others have
positive changes too, I don’t need too much things to believe, I am an example of that , I want
others believe that really can impact positively our society, and that’s why I want to stand for MC
14-15.

• SKILLS
• Skills to build trustworthy relationships: I consider this skill supports my option as candidate for MCVP BD because from the 2 perspectives, always has been a
strength in order to achieve Goals. First could allows me as Team leader to have the credibility to be able to influence others and make them believe in
common goals and trust me. And on the other hand with Partners, have gave me the capacity to build strong and sustainable relationships.
• Sales Skills: Since I joined AIESEC, as you can see in the next question, I have always been working with sales and external relations. I really enjoy and love to
do this , so I’ll never get tired of this or frustrated, I already know some of the challenges of this and I am always looking for more
• Team Management & Discipline skills: During all my AIESEC XP, I have had the opportunity to build 2 specific teams where nothing existed before. I this that
these are 2 of my biggest challenges but also achievements in my career because I like to learn how to build a team, how to manage it, but especially
how to track it in a comfortable but disciplined way for all the team. I think I am good at making feel people part of the goals and align this with their personal
goals.
• COMPETENCIES, according to ours AIESEC’s CAT: I think the outstanding competencies for my candidature as MCVP BD are:
• Emotional Intelligence : Managing all the problems and wins of the team should not be easy, a MCVP BD should have the strength to lead a multi-personality
team, but also to be able to enface the partners claims .
• Entrepreneurial Outlook : new ideas, managing opportunities and engage others I think are essential for this role , that for 14-15 , I think should be the
strategy of the team more than operations.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• As International Business Administrator, I have the opportunity to learn about : Market Investigation, Market Penetration, Sales Management,
Finances Management , Human Resources Management , Basic Planning . Subjects that today allows me to put in practice what I learn and that for business development are essential to be able to innovate but also have good tracking and team development processes On the
other hand, I learn Business English, basic French and after my AIESEC internship, understand basic Portuguese what nowadays I'm
conscientious is not only a plus but almost a most to work in business world
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
1 MCVP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MC 14-15 Be MCVP Business Development is a dream that was born almost 3 years and a half ago, for me , since I joined AIESEC in 2010, one my coordinator asked me how far I
wanted to go in AIESEC, I asked super excited that I wanted to be LCVP ICX, he refused and after some words asked me again, my answer was AI this time. I WANNA
CHANGE REALITIES and I WANT TO BE PART OF THIS CHANGE; Maybe being part of an MC team won’t change directly all those specific realities that I want but I could live
a dream that will allows to me to change many other realities that INDIRECTLY are going to contribute to change this world, to eradicate poverty, inequity and violence
from the world.
What skills and competencies make you a good option for the
position and why? & How your academic background will
contribute you to have a good performance in the position?
What experiences support your candidacy for the position? &
What achievements inside AIESEC are good references to trust
you capabilities to assume the position

GENERAL QUESTIONNAIRE
1
2
500 GIP TNs in one Year
WINNING TOGETHER CULTURE “At a time when enterprises can stretch around the globe, culture is the
glue that holds a complex organization together” Building a winning culture
By Paul Rogers, Paul Meehan and Scott Tanner
What is missing? 1. Members Living the purpose
* We need to develop members that ask themselves why
we do this everyday and have a clear and
common answer. In order to empower local
entities to Collaboration more than simple
competency without purpose, a humbleness
collaboration. (set together culture)
2. Better Talented trained people
*We need better education tools and cycle for our
members in specific topics like for example Trained
members in planning to set ambitious but real
goals, in tracking , team management ,
Collaboration products, etc (set winning culture)
3. Operational discipline
We need to transform the last things into actions,
developing : discipline in our operations, being
volunteer doesn’t mean to work with mediocrity,
we need high performance members that believes
in @, trained themselves to be better and put it in
practice into operations
*On the other hand, we also need a Collaboration guided
by the MC Office who can set parameters and
following up minimums to ensure successful
collaboration (set winning together culture)
How to encourage ? According to the methodology, Managing by values , in which in
order to be able to achieve a winning culture, we need to
start from the inner part of the organization, in AIESEC in
Colombia, we should follow this:
1. Clarifying
* First, is important to clarify the Why of our culture (mission, vision
and values aligned to winning together spirit) , But more that
that, we need to set which are the behaviors we need and
wants as winning culture to Inspire members and connect
them with their inner motivations. (Members Living the purpose)
2. Communicating
* Second, we need to communicate what, as AIESEC, are we going
to provide as winning culture for whom and how. In AIESEC
in Colombia, we need to strengthen the internal & external
communication channels and system that is have been used
in order to ensure all our stakeholders understand our
expectations. (Better Talented trained people)
3. Aligning
Finally, we need to establish principles required for our survival and
success to really get a Winning Together AIESEC Culture. (Operational discipline)
Taking into account the conditions, I suggest the following plan in order to achieve 500RE iGIP in 1 year.
•First of all, the national office must to prepare and train the local entities in order to be able to deliver those experiences, especially in three topics: 1. Customer loyalty organizations
2. Legal & Financial strengthening
3. Delivery Certification: MC office have to evaluate the conditions and capability of each entity to deliver High Quality Experiences, for this a training and certification model could be develop in
which only local entities with certification will be able to participate.
•Sector:
IT: This sector has been growing like never before in Colombia, even was developed an unique ministry for this and it is consider as one of the “locomotoras” of national economy.
Between 2012 and 2013 the incomes from this sector, growth in 20%.
•Segment : (According to international supply)
Software Development and Programming
Web & applications development
•Markets:
I go for three options as a plan :
1.SMEs > Huge opportunity and non explored market in Colombia that needs the talent (Develop special financial and prices management for them)
2. National Segmentation> If the MC is not selling, local entities must to take advantage of the market after being certified in National delivery
3. Government > Take advantage of the firsts steps working with them, taking into account the possible risks and managed only by premium TN
Managers .
•LCs involved (According to experience in the market, with high volume delivery and market share opportunities ) AIESEC Uninorte
AIESEC Andes
AIESEC EIA
AIESEC Manizales

3 5 BIG MILESTONES TO ACHIEVE 2015
Thank You For Reading…
iGIP PROJECTS
SALES
GCDP INTER-REGIONAL PROJECTS
IXP CULTURE
PURPOSE DRIVEN
ORGANIZATION
CUSTOMER FOCUS
OPERATIONS
Taking advantage of current GCPs, we need to boost GCDP growth to achieve 2015 goals by Inter-Regional
Projects such as IGNite Project, but lets go beyond.. I propose to build and execute not only international regional
projects, but also national ones ( such as Discovery Colombia @CTG+@UN) strengthening not only my growth but
the grow of the network, and not only with IGN but why not to expand frontiers and develop successful projects with WENA or AP?
AIESEC in Colombia needs to focus on quality and customers if we want to achieve 2015 gals. We need
a strong customer loyalty students and organizations team, strategies and focus operations that
supports the big growths and jumps we need to do in the following 2 years , but this must be by the side of quality supervision and responsible decisions in operations.
As we are talking some months ago, always, we need members focused on the purpose of this organization,
only in this way we will be able to achieve for a reason together . Every single number should be understand
as a life changed, for this reason, AIESEC in Colombia needs members that really understands the value
proposition of each of our exchange and leadership programs in order to have achieved goals but with a clear purpose.
Why 2 or even 1 year ago was almost “impossible” in all AIESECers’ minds to think about selling iGCDP ,
I’m aware this is a different program and different markets, but , let think out the box, we need to start
selling iGIP by package and projects , as I just said in the last question, we need to innovate in iGIP if
we really want to grow. So, I propose as one milestone to focus on sell iGIP by projects (bigger quantities per sale)
IXP is a strategy that should to becomes a must for every single member in AIESEC. We can reach our
2015 goals if we get to strengthen this strategy. Nowadays, I think is really strong in GCDP opportunities,
but we should focus even more in GIP , taking into account that is a current national focus. Minimum 1
exchange experience for every member leadership experience . Members must be ready to encourage the strategy for them and their team partners.
