Chartered Accountants Worldwide brings together the leading institutes of Chartered Accountants from around the world to support, develop and promote the vital role that Chartered Accountants play throughout the global economy. Together, we’re committed to ensuring that our members continue to stand apart – defining excellence throughout their career, throughout the world.Launched in February 2013 by the founding partners – Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) – we are now inviting Chartered Accountancy institutes who share our ambition to join Chartered Accountants Worldwide.

Associate

Associate membership is open to any professional accountancy body which:

• isaCharteredAccountancybody,whosemembers are referred to as Chartered Accountants and legitimately uses the Chartered Accountant brand;

• isamemberofIFACoranIFACRecognisedRegionalOrganisation(eg,CAPAorPAFA);

• requiresitsmemberstocommittocontinuingprofessional development;

• iscommittedtoworkingtogethertopromotetheChartered Accountancy brand; and

• candemonstratehowitisimprovingthequalityoftheCharteredAccountancyqualification.

As an Associate, you will be able to:

• usetheAssociatelogotopromoteyourorganisation and demonstrate your commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards;

• accessexclusiveevents,networkingopportunities for your members around the world and marketing materials for use in your promotional activities; and

• workwiththenetworkofCEOs,educationspecialists and marketing teams to develop Chartered Accountants Worldwide.

Annual membership fee = US$15,000

Member

Membership is open to any professional accountancy body which:

• fulfilsthecriteriaforAssociatemembership;and

• hasreciprocalmembershipagreementsinplacewith at least two of the Chartered Accountants Worldwide founder members, or are recognised under Common Content.

As a Member, you will be able to:

• usetheMemberlogotopromoteyourorganisation and demonstrate your commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards;

• accessexclusiveevents,networkingopportunities for your members around the world and marketing materials for use in your promotional activities;

• havevotingrightsandtheopportunitytobecomea board member; and

• workwiththenetworkofCEOs,educationspecialists and marketing teams to develop Chartered Accountants Worldwide.

Onceyourapplicationhasbeenapproved,youwillneedtosignthemembershipagreement and pay the full membership fee for the remainder of the year. If your application is not successful, we will contact you to explain our decision.

IfyourapplicationisacceptedyouwillbeprovidedwithyourAssociateorMemberlogo,brandguidelines,messagingandothermarketingmaterialsandtools.WewillworkwithyoutoprepareajointpressreleaseandpromotionofyourCharteredAccountants Worldwide membership to the global accountancy community. We will workwithyouandyourteamstoactivelyencourageparticipationofyourmembersinglobalnetworkingopportunitiesandevents.
