Match ReportOur 1st home game for the season after 4 away games. Thanks for every ones patience. As the boys where told before the game we were about to encounter our first challenge for the year, and that we did. Edi/As came out fighting and proved to be some fierce competition. Our Captains Nick (angry ant ) and Lewy lead the way with some great tackles and grabbing all opportunities to make a contest. With Lochy (Rocky) Mason and Will (billy the kid ) lurking and moving around in the full forward line our boys were doing what they were asked to do. General josh was leading the way as a General does with 1st 2nd and 3rd

efforts supporting his teammates Finn and Jack. Cooper( the big Pav)was getting to contests and winning the ball with some big kicks forward to our advantage where Luke ( Mr reliable) found himself competing at every chance .For the first time this season our defence was under attack . Blocker was inspirational with his attack on the ball which made it easier for Cruizer Hayden and Jet to rack up some forward penetrating kicks. Our boys were now facing the challenge of some good competition with watching several opposition goals going over there head. Jack never gave up and ran him self into the ground putting the pressure on every contest. Mack truck was now defending and as usual backing himself, sending a 30 meter bomb from the backline which created our 1st goal. Luca was now finding the ball and a lot more confidence. Twigs like always made his presence felt with another opposition Coach trying to poach him. A 10 year $5million contract was offered this time. Blocker was no showing us his best game for the year by far with taking on Wednesdays training drills and team rules. He earned his first goal and with making a second effort and helped Cooper (pav ) kick one too. Finn was now flying, making it to the ball first, taking marks and pushing to

the next contest to help his team mates. Mason With his big smile took a great chest mark and Luca lead well for him to take another great mark .Our newest player Jake was now showing He belongs to the egg shaped ball game and with rosey cheeks made his coach and family proud of his first game with his attack at any contest that came near him. Ham sandwich continued to improve as he every week, Now showing no fear and his attack on the ball and 2nd efforts were second to none. Harry took on the full forwards role perfectly. The Veterans work rate and several leads were an example to any full forward. It was in the Last qtr our boys got back to their best and Will Gibbo proved he can keep running and caused a great turn over to help his mates score another goal. Blocker still in best form made a 150 meter dash to get back to defence and stop a certain goal. Jet backed him up and ran onto blockers kick and with a long long kick as jet can do sent it forward to Cody(Falcon) with some great running. Thanks to Nicks (angry bird) brilliant read of the play and hard running he put our last goal for the day on the board.A great performance again from our truely young gentlemen. Another opposition coach and umpire has praised the way our boys work as a team and how well mannered they were. Well done Boys. Happiest coach in the world...
