M.A.-Ph.D. in English Language Studies (International Program) Weekend Program at Tha Prachan Campus English Department, Faculty of Liberal Arts Thammasat University www.tuenglish.org Qualifications 1. For M.A. Program: a Bachelor’s degree in any field with the minimum GPA of 2.50 For Ph.D. Program: a Master’s degree in any field with the minimum GPA of 3.25 For M.A. continuing to Ph.D. Program: a Bachelor’s degree in English or related fields with the minimum GPA of 3.50 2. For both M.A. and Ph.D. Programs: one of the following English scores (score reports are valid for two years): TOEFL (Internet-based) no less than 80 IELTS no less than 6.5 TU-GET no less than 550 (except those who completed a degree program in which English is used as medium of instruction within two years prior to the application date) Admission Methods M.A. Program (Written exam and interview) Ph.D. Program (Interview and 1,000-word Ph.D. research proposal) Application Documents 1. Completed application form 2. Two 1-inch-size photos 3. A copy of official transcripts 4. A copy of citizen ID card (or Passport for non-Thai candidates) 5. Valid English test score report 6.
