LOWER HUDSON TRANSIT LINKWHITE PLAINS ROUTING AND STOPS – REVISIONS AND NEXT STEPSFebruary 22, 2017

Background and Context

Following presentation to White Plains Transportation Commission on February 15, NYSDOT revised routing and stop locations

Goals are still to provide a faster connection to MNR and offer stops that serve all riders

The stops locations also tried to use existing bus stops, since the use for transportation has already been established

NYSDOT developed these concepts with feedback from TAC representative from White Plains

Transportation Commission meets again on March 15, City Council meets on April 3.

NYSDOT would like the concepts to be reviewed by the Transportation Commission ASAP so that revisions can be made before March meeting

Changes will require additional coordination, environmental review, survey and ROW.
