Ultimate chaos springs to mind; the heavy drifts of snow and the continuous wintry weather brought the UK to a standstill during the earlier part of this year. The end result, on the other hand, could not have been better for the garages.

Cars stranded in snow, minus temperatures and terrible road conditions is enough to make anybody working in the vehicle repair industry smile. What you're not so fond of are the irate customers that come with it! Not that it’s your fault but bearing in mind what it’s like living day to day without a vehicle, which we are all guilty of becoming so dependent on. At one time or another we’ve all experienced a day without our beloved car, whether it be getting to work, dropping the kids off at school or a trip to the supermarket, it makes Everest a more achievable conquest. These demands and pressures are put on today’s workshops, which means, that we, as one of the UK’s largest parts suppliers, constantly strive to improve on range; to ensure we always have the right parts on the shelf. Service; winter is our busiest period but we never let our deliveries falter. And of course price; there’s just no need to shop around. For as much as you don’t want to let the customer down, we don’t either.

That’s right, due to the success of Autotech in September we’ve decided to go on tour and we will be coming to a town near you in 2010.

We were pleased to see that once again many customers had taken time out of their busy schedules to attend the Autotech show back in September (especially in this financial climate) to see what was happening within the industry.The interest in the Training for Survival forums was good to see and both sessions were well attended. Customers were presented with new and existing garage training concepts from Bosch, Delphi, the IMI and not forgetting our very own training concept AutoEducation. All attendees also walked away with a generous 20% reduction on any AutoEducation training course of their choice.

Autotech is a unique experience and far better than the other trade shows (biased? Maybe a little) and a great opportunity for you to come and talk face to face with our suppliers, keep up-to-date with the latest industry requirements and receive impartial advice.
