Career Options
Students will investigate the structure and function of the human body’s systems. Biological themes such as stability and diversity will be intertwined throughout the course.
Chemist Pharmacist
Doctor Veterinarian
Biotechnologist Physicist
Students will study & experience college level topics that include: biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, biotechnology, evolution, taxonomy, plant & animal systems and ecology.
Students will study & experience college level topics that include: atomic structure, chemical bonding, states of matter, stoichiometry, kinetics, equilibrium and chemical reactions.
Students will explore the macroscopic features of the world through the following topics: Newtonian mechanics, work, energy & power, mechanical waves & sound and circuits.
Capstone/Science Fair will allow students to research & present upon a scientific question of interest. Collaboration amongst the professional science community will be an essential component.
Students will meet with their counselor and/or grade level administrator to discuss options of possible science, mathematics or technology related experiences available.
