COBA Family Day is Back at Rye Playland “Patrolling the Toughest Precincts in New York” Dear Retired Member: Hoping this letter finds you and your loved ones in good health and filled with all the Blessings. As you know, it is that time of the year again, when we join together, family and friends to enjoy our annual FAMILY DAY OUTING at Rye Playland on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Rain Date: Sunday September 18, 2016. Registration begins at 0930 hours. Park will open from 1100 hours to 2100 hours. This year all Retired Members are free. As we prepare for yet another Family Day Outing, it is important that we make you abreast of the following information: 1) All Retired Members are pre-registered. 2) All dependents and friends will be charged a fee of $40.00 per person. 3) Please make money order/cashier check payable to: COBA Widows’ & Children’s Fund in the amount of $40.00 for each additional band. ALL PAYMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL BANDS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH, 2016. ALL PAYMENTS ARE TO BE MAILED TO THE MAIN COBA OFFICE AT 75 BROAD STREET, SUITE # 810, NEW YORK, NY 10004. NO BANDS WILL BE SOLD AT THE PARK. THERE WILL BE NO CASH TRANSACTIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS. 4) Your Parking Pass is enclosed. Upon entering the park, the cost for parking will be $5.00. PLEASE DISPLAY PARKING FLYER, WHICH IS ON THE BACK OF THIS LETTER. 5) Alcoholic beverages will not be provided by the COBA, nor do we condone the use. The COBA will not be responsible for the actions caused by alcohol consumption. REMEMBER IT’S YOUR FAMILY! Among the items to be served without charge will be Backyard BBQ hot dogs, hamburgers, garden burgers, barbequed chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad, etc. Everyone has always been professional and courteous to one another in the past and I commend you for that. We look forward to another great event for our families and a perfect time to meet and greet old friends, and make new ones.
