WITHOUT YOU OUR YARD SALE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS! I just wanted to thank everyone who worked &
donated items to make this year’s yard sale such a
success. We took in an estimated $3,800. I was
blessed with an abundance of things to sell and had
a really great crew of people who came and set up
tables, priced, sorted, picked items up at homes,
cooked us delicious goodies, cashiered and then
helped clean up. We also were able to help other
groups, with our leftovers going to the Memorial
Christian Church – Coats, Seventh Day Adventists
– clothes, New Hope-old cell phones & Habitat for
Humanity – all the rest. I want to give special
recognition to the people below who worked so
hard on this sale:
Linda Bryant Smith, Bev & Mike Dell, Denis &
Vivian Plew, Dolores & Tom Pheasant, Marilyn
Grass, Ellen White, Louise Ingebrigtson, Cammy
Hatch, Shirley Pederson, David & Elaine Carpen-
ter, Margaret Treiber, Barb Deycous, Janet Nelson,

Thank you, Mary Mantz
On May 19th, the Circle of Love met for a
luncheon that featured a wonderful chicken salad
and dessert and a game. Dolores Pheasant pre-
sented a program on the Akiane Kramarik story.
Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed
each other’s company.

Congratulations, Class of 2014!!
Graduation is a time to remember
and a time to dream,
A time to look back and a time to reach forward.
A time for songs of laughter and a time for tears of joy.
A time for letting go and a time for discovering
hopes and dreams that are yet unknown.
A time to say good-bye to yesterday and a time to greet tomorrow
with courage.
A time for loving hearts to gather and a time to celebrate all that you are
and all that you may become

“Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise” James 5:13
One of the most wonderful gifts we are given is the gift of prayer. We can pray for one another in times of need as well as times of celebration.
Join the Prayer Chain. To receive the prayer chain by email send an email to Mary Fulk at [email protected]. To join the phone prayer chain contact Joan Jensen: 246-1691.

Dear Pet Daddies,
You are a daddy by choice -- a good choice. You've selflessly committed yourself to loving and caring for a pet, someone who relies on you... and will always rely on you. Pets don't grow up and leave the nest. You are their daddy for life: their protector, feeder, petter, hugger, treat-giver and play-catcher. Pet love is deep, and good daddy is lucky to have the love of a dog or cat to grace his world. On Father’s Day, your little furry kids won't give you gifts. They won't take you to dinner or bake you a special cake. They won't draw you a cute picture for your fridge or bring you breakfast in bed. They will, however, make Father’s Day your spe-cial day -- just like they do every day. They'll greet you and love you as soon as you wake up. They'll watch TV with you, take a walk with you, kiss you, hug you, never leave your side. They won't complain, they won't fight, they won't talk back -- they'll just give you all they have to give... like they do every day. You see, pet dads, that's the best part of being a cat or dog's father -- every day is Father's Day. They don't need a day to treat you special or let you know how much they love and appreciate you. They do it every single day of the year.
Happy Father's Day to all the pet owners out there!
IT’S TIME FOR A SPRING CLEANING!
The Trustees would like to hold a Spring Cleaning Day on Monday, June 16th,
to clean out the cluttered corners of our church. Would you please help?
We need people who can organize and clean. We have neglected these rooms
for awhile. Suggested areas to clean and organize are:
1. Youth Room
2. Freezer Room
3. Storage Room
4. Sunday School Office
5. Music Room
6. Shed
7. Kitchen cupboards and cabinets
Do you see something you would like to help clean and organize? We need all
the help we can get. Let’s make this a fun project!
