WHY MAKE A HOMEMADE CARD?
Show the most important woman in your life how much you care
Moms really enjoy homemade things
Crafting is fun and relieves stress
Easy to do, but it looks great
Cheaper than buying cards at the store

MATERIALS
8 ½ x 11 in piece of cardstock
An envelope
Cutting board (scissors and ruler work too)
EmbellishmentsRibbonFake flowersJewelsButtons
Double‐stick tape
Decorative Paper
Optional
Greeting stamp
Ink
Punch
Pen (if not using stamp)
Scissors (if using a cutting board)

PREPARING THE CARDSTOCK
1. Cut the cardstock the short way at 5 ½ inches for the base of the card.
2. Fold cardstock in half the short way, making a surface of 5 ½ x 4 ¼ inches.

DECORATE CARD
3. Cut decorative paper into 1 inch strips 5 ½ inches across.
4. Adhere to card using double stick tape.

5. Add embellishments.

6. Stamp a greeting on different colored paper.
Note: Using a stamp for your greeting is not necessary. Feel free to write a greeting with your own hand; it’ll make it even more special for your Mom.
7. Cut it out and tape it to the card.
