The Stressmastery Method is a unique and effective way to improve workplace stress and to build personal stress resilience. It’s called a Method because it requires 6 Steps for maximum effectiveness STEP 1 – Assess! We do this using the widely accepted Stress Management Questionnaire (SMQ). Unless we know what to change, change becomes extremely difficult. The SMQ provides this information. The SMQ Assesses WHAT to change by Identifying Stress Warning Signs STEP 2 – Identify! After taking the SMQ the responses are scored using a proprietary algorhytm which produces scores on the 11 stress risk scales. STEP 3 – Learn! The SMQ produces two reports; 1) A One page Stress Risk Profile and 2) A Detailed Stress REPORT. With this information, each person receives a copy of a workbook for change called the STRESSMASTERY GUIDE to begin to make personal changes. STEP 4 – BUILD new knowledge and skills to reduce stress and build stress resilience. The Guide along with coaching and training results in a COMMITMENT for personal change. STEP 5 – CHANGE! – Through reading the Guide and working with a trainer or coach, a commitment to change is established and agreed to. �STEP 6 – MAINTAIN- Through periodic booster sessions, eLearning programs and coaching support, Changes is Maintained.
