i Miss Constance Ann Connor Is Mid'Summer Bride Miss Constance Ann Connor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Connor of 17-Mile Road,Ced- ar Springs, became the bride of Clare R. Kidder, on Saturday July 6, in the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Kidder of Alto. The Reverend Leo. E. Bennett of- ficiated at the double-ring cere- mony. The former Miss Connor wore a floor length gown of Peau-de- soie designed and sewn by her mother. Hand embroidered roses trimmed the simple A-line gown, bridal point sleeves, and cathed- ral train which was attached to the gown by a Dior bow. Bridesmaids were Miss Mari- lyn Connor of Cedar Springs, sister of the bride, Mrs. Arnold Winell of Cedar Springs, and Miss Grace Ann Maurer of Bad Axe. They wer e attired identical to the maid of honor. Miss Dianne Brown, niece of the groom, and Miss Lori Ann Humphreys, cousin of the bride were flower girls. Their dress- es wer e floor length of white dotted swiss trimmed with blue chiffon. Matching the brides- maids, their headpieces of blue net were trimmed with bands of embroidery. They carried min- iature colonial bouquets. Jerry Wallace of Cedar Springs was best man, and the grooms- men were George Brown ofGrand Rapids, William Connor of Ced- ar Springs, brother of the bride, and Michael Humphreys of Com- stock Park. Ushers were Harry Conant, Ted Denton, John Mc Innis, and Michael Slater. Mrs. Robert Winquist, vocal soloist sang, "The Greatest of These Is Love" and "The Wed- ding Prayer", accompanied by organist Mrs. Leon Avery. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Humphreys of C asnovia, aunt and uncle of the bride, were master and mistress of ceremonies at the reception which followed In the church fellowship hall. Following a northern wedding trip the couple will be at home to their friends at Mt. Pleasant. FACING TRAFFIC Funeral Held For Neff Fisk Funeral services were held Monday at the Walsh-Bliss Fun- eral Home in Cedar Springs for Neff Flsk, aged 64, of Solon Township, who passed away sud- denly on Thursday afternoon, July 11, at the United Memorial Hos- pital In Greenville. Mr. Fisk was born on Sept- ember 30, 1903, in Solon Town- ship to the late Hiram iind Grace Flsk and was married on Jan- uary 15, 1922, to the former Mamie Holliday who survives him. He was a member of the Mich- igan Milk Producers Association. Mr. Flsk Is survived by : his wife, Mamie, three daughters, Mrs. Harley (Geraldlne) Hinkley of Ravenna; Mrs. Wallace (Gen- evieve) Glar of Cedar Springs, and Mrs. Donald (Marlan)Green The flowers in the Memorial Window are in loving memory of Mrs. Eugenia (Jean) M.
