ANTCOR Ant Series Indoor Super Wireless Terminal Net Production(Ant Tank) has the characters,

like working during 2.4Hz frequency range ,reaching the EEE802.11b/g standard, adopting OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency‐division Multiplexing) technique，practical data transfer speed reach up to more than 20Mbps. Its’ merits are velocity and long transfer distance and so on. It’s the best choice to cover sub‐strict, countryside, schools and city’s wireless net. ANTCOR Super Wireless Terminal’s most important advantages are liquid crystal vision, auto

searching the wireless signal and just pressing one key you can connect it. Moreover，it equips LAN joggle, has no need to set up a drive and software, and is produced by environment protection technique without aluminum and low electromagnetism radiation. So it’s very environmental. The product equips with the able‐partition circumscribed air wire (random equipped with 5dBi air

wire) and according to your need, It can connect with the air wire outdoors as well so that it can adapt different needs and different requirement.

二、 Liquid Crystal Deploy

2.1 Welcome Page

Set up the equipment, connect the air wire, netting twine, electric current .After LAN light and the AIR light is lighting, liquid crystal vision will appear ANTCOR’s welcome page. Then you can use it.

Point the sign “<” to the option and after press the button, it will search the wireless routers around automatically. Wait for a second .It will find out wireless routers around and list the massage like the chart below:

The chart above shows SSID, password format and signal intensity. For example, ant appeared in the fourth line expresses SSID and OPN expresses password format and 16

expresses signal intensity.

7) After it has finished, it will connect the wireless router and change to be “Relay Mode” automatically. You need to enter WEB site and set the password in “Relay Mode” if you need.

三、 WEB Page Setting

3.1 Local Setting

Right‐click the button ‘Network Neighborhood’ and fill in 192.168.4.XX’s IP address on the local property/common practice/Internet （TCP/IP）,like the picture below:

3.2 log in Setting

Open the IE browser and fill 192.168.4.20 in the blank. Then press the button ‘Enter’ and it will appear a new dialog box. Please fill the default user name and number and left click .

3.3 Wireless Mode Introduction

1) Wireless Mode : It’s “Relay Mode” which supports site(wireless client), WDS site, access point(Wireless AP), access point WDS.(Ps: “Relay Mode” will appear after you choose the site.)

3.3 Site Mode Setting

Enter “Wireless Setting” and choose “Wireless Mode”. Then pick up the site mode. After it has been finished changing, the setting have been succeeded. Like the picture below.

The way to use the ANTCOR to connect with the wireless routers: Right click in ESSID

and it will appear a new blank like the picture below. Press the scanning button and it can scan the wireless signal around.

the button “change” and it can connect. If wireless router has been encrypted, you must choose the right encryption scheme in the air wine safety and fill the in secret number. After connect the wireless router, pull down to the menu in system message tools blank and you can see the wireless signal dB number in air wire correction.

Pick up air wire correction and the screen will appear a dialog box below.

3.3.2 Relay Mode Setting

Firstly, enter the wireless setting and pick up wireless mode. Then choose the site. Tick the check box on the right in ‘Relay working automatically ‘ and make sure it can work. Then enter the Net Setting to choose the net mode. Pick up the router. Encrypt relay mode need to add the number in WEB page by manual operation. The secret number must to be set between 8 and 63 figures. Like the picture below.

1） Use the liquid crystal to connect the wireless router directly or to connect the wireless router automatically after learning .Start to use the relay mode

automatically.

2） Using the WEB page to connect the wireless router need to start up the relay mode by manual operation. Please read the setting method above.

3.3.3 3G Wireless Router Mode Setting Enter wireless setting to wireless mode: connect the access point and pick the bridge

connection .Then click the blank called start up the share in 3G. Start up DHCP service and restart the computer after changed. Then you can surf the Internet.

3.3.4 Wireless Router PPPoE Setting

Enter wireless setting to wireless mode: Pick up the access point and choose the router in net setting. Then choose PPPoE in the LAN Net Setting of LAN IP address blank. Pick up the right PPPoE user name and secret number. Fill the right address in the WLAN address blank. Start up DHCP in LAN Net Setting and apply change. If you see PPPoE equipment Message in the liquid crystal vision, it means that you have succeeded. Like the picture below.


3.3.5 Wireless Router Setting

ANTCOR works as the wireless router setting by its’ own. The page changes the wireless setting to wireless mode: choose the access point; enter Net Setting to net mode; choose router.

Access point WDS and Site WDS: both are wireless bridge connection mode. We won’t detailed introduce here.

3.4 How to set the message you have learnt

For example, ANTCOR has learnt wireless router and have the secret number 31：32：33：34：35. It works in regular condition. If the ANTCOE learnt another router secret number or reset setting, it need to reset the connecting with wireless router. There is no need to learn again. Setting steps are like the introduction below.

Enter ANTCOE WEB page’s Wireless Setting>Wireless Mode: choose the site mode and set as the same as connected wireless router’s ESSID, wireless safety secret numbers, relay mode starting like the picture below.

3.5 High State Setting

High state wireless setting, Air wire, Air wire traffic shaping 、802.11e QoS (WMM) Setting

3.6 System Service

Ping routers watchdog, EDNS Client、SNMP agent、NTP Client、Web server、Telnet server、SSH server、System Log.

EDNS Client Users will have a new dynamic allocated IP address every time. Having set in the computer’s

EDNS software will be sent to the EDNS analysis server by this IP and update domain name numerical database. When other people on Internet visit the domain name, EDNS analysis server will return to the right IP address to him. This is called EDNS. ANTCOR supports www.3322.org client.

3.7 System Setting

Firmware, host name, managed account, Read‐Only Account, language varchar, logo customization, configuration management;

Firmware: You can check the relevant fixed edition here. Host name: this setting’s name, give tacit consent to ANRCOR. Read‐Only Account: You can update your logging user secret number here and it has been given

tacit consent to admin/admin; language varchar: You can choose the language which you like.

Setting equipment maintenance: Restart ,reset to be default value.

Firmware update: Press the system setting

1) Upgrade file is fw.bin and do not to revise the file name. 2) During the upgrade process, don’t interrupt the power supply and take out the net line.

Appendix A: Wireless Safety Setting Introduction Firstly, log in the ANTCOR and click the wireless setting and support the encryption setting: WEP

between bit64 and bit128 key, WPA, WPA‐TKIP, WPA‐AES,WPA2,WPA2‐TKIP,WPA2‐AES.

Pick up the encrypt way ,fill in the key, press the change button and press the apply button .ANTCOR will restart and the safety setting has successes like the picture above.

7.1 Check Air Wire

Check air wire’s function means to check the signal quality between wireless router and ANTCOR and to be used to adjust the air wire direction whether it’s right. The number ‐96 shows that it has not been connected.

Appendix C：FAQ（ANTCOR On‐line Answer） Q: What is wireless router? A: Wireless router is a kind of product with extended pattern and it fixes the wireless AP and broadband together. There is not only all the wireless AP function such as support the DHCP client, VPN, firewall, WEP encryption an so on, but also the change of net address and the support for user to share on Internet. In family wireless net, the dream that connects to share has come true. Moreover, ADSL and sub‐district wireless can connect without air wire to share the information as well.

Q: Which function does ANTCOR have? A: Perfect liquid crystal vision, search wireless signal automatically and connect just by pressing the keyboard. Support WEP and WPA to encrypt perfectly. There is no need to set up a drive and to have BT3 CD.

You could study by your own. Support 3G wireless router, normal wireless router, wireless relay, wireless client, wireless bridge

mode perfectly. Support satellite master, client system perfectly. Support China Telecommunications TIanyi 3G net card and dial automatically. Support PPPoe to dial and the function of DHCP address assignment, DDNS dynamic state realm

name and Firewall.

Q: What’s meaning of IVS? A: IVS is a parameter that we catch during the setting’s running. It relates to the parameter we caught

but not to the file size. Q: Why reset my setting? A: Because entering the liquid crystal screen, after choosing the “Reset setting” in the last option, the

setting will restart automatically.

Q: Why does the setting have a “X” in my local connection? A:

1. The net line has not been connected. 2. The screen shows nothing and it has not finished the restart. The method to solve the

problem is to supply the power again. 3. The setting and computer cannot fix together. Please use the cross wire. Original net line is

the standard cross wire.

Q: What does the signal on the screen represent? A: The number showing on the screen represents the signal value of the far‐end wireless router .The

advice we give is the signal value should be more than 10.

Q: Why my setting is always not able to learn? A: 1.There is a probability whether it’s successful to learn. Maybe the AP signal is too weak or the

data which has been caught is not enough will lead to fail to learn. 2. If scanning the AP signal that is going to be learnt is showed more than 10 on the liquid crystal

screen , the probability will be higher. 3. AP that is going to be learnt restarts halfway.

4. AP that is going to be learnt changes the secret number during the learning process.

Q: Why the learning is succeed but my computer cannot enter my network? A: 1. AP that is going to be learnt doesn’t use DHCP and you need to set IP address gateway to your computer by manual operation. Then the software like DNS can get on Internet. 2. AP that is going to be learnt has been limited by MAC. 3. AP that is going to be learnt has been set to IP limitation and so on.

Q : Why WPA shows the learning tips that cannot handle? A: 1、AP that is going to be learnt must have the wireless user to connect each other and then it can learn. 2、ANTCOR’s WPA learning skills is used to study by dictionary mode. Being limited by ANTCOR’s FLASH, dictionary’s volume has limitation and maybe it lead to fail the learning.

Q: AP that has learnt need to study again? A: AP that has learnt need to study can write down the secret number and add in relay mode by

manual operation. There is no need to study again.

Q: Relay Mode need to be encrypted? A: Relay Mode in irmware1.17 edition supports WPA2 to encrypt. Set the secret number which is between the bit8 to bit63 in the page.
