Ansal API – An Overview

• Founded in 1967 and has verticals like Residential Townships, SEZs,

Retail and Mall Management, Clubs, Utilities and Education etc.

• Entered the education arena in 1975 with the establishment of Chiranjiv

Charitable Trust (CCT)

• Established “Chiranjiv Bharti Schools” through CCT

• Established Sushant School of Art & Architecture in 1989

• Established Ansal Institute of Technology (AIT) in 2000 which

subsequently became a Trust in 2007

• AIT approved by UGC Under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 and is soon

likely to be granted the Deemed University status.

• Established Knowledge Tree Infrastructure Limited (KTIL) as a fully owned

subsidiary to create infrastructure for Education

• Campuses planned at Lucknow and Jaipur from 2011-12

• Other initiatives include Cisco Networking Academy, Sushant Centre for Research & Design (SCRD) and Sushant Institute of Training & Development (SITD)

• AIT students are accepted for transfer with advance standing in their degree program in various top universities at US, UK, Australia, France & Canada

• Currently has over 5000 students and 300 faculty members
