Overlooking Ullswater in the Lake District National Park, our hotel and grounds can’t fail to provide a romantic backdrop to your special day. The hotel has 40 bedrooms, including ten family suites, a library, two restaurants, Swim Club – our take on a spa with a 20-metre swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna and treatment rooms.

In between the hotel and lake are 18 acres of fields and beautiful landscaped gardens, creating gorgeous photo opportunities.

RAMPSBECK RESTAURANTThe open-kitchen restaurant - a relaxed, ambient space with views of the lake. Here is where your wedding breakfast will be he held if you take exclusive use of the hotel, seating up to 70 guests. Good food is at the heart of Another Place. We’ll work with you to help you choose your menu, drawing on your own personal tastes, our outstanding local produce and our own vegetable patch and herb garden.

TAKE THINGS OUTDOORS…If you’d prefer to celebrate in the great outdoors, there’s the option to have your wedding breakfast and evening reception in a marquee or tipi in the gardens. Our 18 acres of parkland and quarter of a mile of private lake shore would be exclusively yours.

WAKE UP BY A LAKEOur 40 rooms will all remind you of your lakeside location with vintage touches, a soft palette, contemporary lighting and space to relax. Most of our rooms have lake views of Ullswater to the fells beyond; some are dog friendly. Couples who opt for exclusive use will be given a complimentary room on the night of the wedding.

Our weddings are bespoke and we work closely with couples to ensure your day is anything but off-the-peg. There are three options, largely guided by the number of guests you’d like to be a part of your wedding day.

Exclusive use gives you the run of the hotel and grounds from midday on the day of your arrival until 11.30am on the day of your departure.

Pricing is based on a daily rate. It includes all 40 bedrooms, sleeping up to 100, on a bed and breakfast terms.

WEDDING BREAKFASTUp to 70 people in Rampsbeck Restaurant – £7,000 Includes reception drink and canapes, a three-course menu, a glass of Champagne for toasting, half a bottle of house wine and evening buffet.

A GATHERINGFor 7 – 20 people A small and informal affair for you and your nearest. Includes ceremony room hire, a choice of three starters, mains and desserts served in our private dining room, glass of Champagne and up to 10 bedrooms for you and your guests with breakfast the following morning. £5,000

A SELECT FEWFor 2 – 6 people An intimate, low key affair for either just the two of you (we can supply the witnesses) or you and up to four of those closest to you.
