PTA College Scholarships available!

WV PTA will award seven $1,000 scholarships to

deserving seniors to help with their college expens-

es. Applications are available online at waubonsi-

estudent.org/2018wvscholarships., and due by

March 1st.

Our own Principal Stipp was just

awarded the DuPage Region High

School Principal of the Year award

by the Illinois Principal’s

Association! We are so fortunate

to have such a dedicated,

passionate, involved, and

enthusiastic Principal!

Ever wonder what PTA does?

Each year, PTA provides WVHS with over $40,000

in support of programs such as:

Senior scholarships

Staff grants

Building improvements

Valley Runway dress collection

Staff appreciation events

Graduation yard signs

Green and Gold awards

Simply by paying your $20 annual PTA dues each

year, attending the Silent Auction or Warriors on

the Run 5k Color Run, you help make all of these

things possible!
