Trimble Foundation Fund, a donor advised fund, provides a platform to exemplify Trimble Inc. as a purpose-driven company focused not only on productivity, safety, quality, and environmental sustainability, but also our commitment towards responsible corporate citizenship. In 2019, we converted our corporate foundation, Trimble Foundation, to a donor-advised fund to more effectively manage our charitable giving and better serve our mission. Our activities over the past two years solidify our philanthropic efforts in supporting the communities we serve. In 2019, a total of $330,000 was donated on the recommendation of Trimble Foundation Fund to organizations that align with our mission. Giving back where we live, work, and operate is not a new concept for Trimble. Throughout the decades, Trimble has been at the forefront during times of need. This is about doing things right, as well as doing the right things. I am pleased to provide this Annual Report for our activities in Fiscal Year 2019. There is a lot for us to be proud of.

Guiding Principles Trimble Foundation Fund has identified the advancement and empowerment of females throughout the world as a giving imperative. The advancement of girls and women, specifically in developing economies, is a basic human right and paramount for a peaceful and sustainable world. Achieving improved gender equality across the globe is greatly increased when girls and women are empowered with equal access to education and economic (earning) opportunities. Significant gender-based discrimination around the world, at varying levels, exists today and is even codified in certain laws within countries. It is the aim of the Trimble Foundation Fund to work with organizations focused on impacting and advancing female equality through education and empowerment—ensuring that girls and women of all ages have an equal opportunity to pursue education and the potential to realize greater financial earnings and significant contributions to society. 2019 Highlights

• A $100,000 contribution was made to CAMFED, bringing the total allocation to this organization to $200,000.

• In January 2019 the Trimble Foundation recommended a donation of $45,000 to Tostan to support their programs, and a further $60,000 towards their Scaling Community Wellbeing Initiative for 2020, bringing total donations to $105,000.

• In December 2019, a donation of $25,000 was made to CHOICE Humanitarian, a new partner, to help fund their Women’s Saving’s Box Lunch Program.

• In January 2019 the Trimble Foundation recommended a $35,000 donation that was made to AIDIndia.

CAMFED’s vision is of a world in which every child is educated, protected, respected and valued, and grows up to turn the tide of poverty. As the most effective strategy to tackle poverty and

inequality, CAMFED multiplies education opportunities for girls and empowers young women to become leaders of change. Our focus is on girls and young women in rural areas of sub-Saharan Africa. This is where girls face acute disadvantage and where their empowerment will have a transformative impact. In 2018, a donation of $100,000 was made to CAMFED to support 394 girls in secondary education in Ghana, with a 98.1% school completion rate. In September of 2019, the Trimble Foundation Fund recommended a donation of an additional $100,000, enabling 750 girls to start school with a New Generation Bursary fund, allowing each girl to choose five items they most need for school, including stationary, food, hygiene products, and clothing. For more information visit www.camfed.org.

Tostan, which means ‘breakthrough’ in the Wolof language, helps empower communities to develop

and achieve their vision for the future. In 2019 Trimble helped to fund a three-year Community Empowerment Program (CEP) intended to amplify social change, including the wellbeing and empowerment of women and girls in West Africa. Trimble allocated resources to a collaborative project – Breakthrough Generation – which includes 150 West African communities. Meaningful results have already been identified, including:

• A 30% increase of female respondents indicating they have expressed themselves in community meetings

• An 18% reduction of respondents that reported genital cutting for their daughters (22% to 4%). • A 55% reduction of respondents would not approve the marriage of girls under the age of 16.

Trimble Foundation Fund’s recommended 2019 grant of $45,000 helps fund Tostan’s CEP program in creating inspired spaces for an unprecedented new generation of female leaders. For more information visit www.tostan.org.

CHOICE Humanitarian is planning to expand the “Women’s Saving Box

Program” (WSBP) to four more rural communities in Mexico. Our expected outcomes are both direct and indirect. We anticipate approximately 25-30 women will participate per village, meaning that there will be 100-120 women from impoverished villages who will become financially literate and learn the skills necessary to leverage their income into economic stability. These women will participate in leadership training and have the chance to serve as leaders within their communities as WSBP administrators, small business investors, community development decision makers, and business owners. All 100-120 women will have the opportunity to either start their own business or be involved in starting and operating a new business. Through this program, we expect 80% of participants to become financially independent. We anticipate as many as 1,400 individuals will be indirectly impacted in the additional villages where WSBPs operate. For more information visit www.choicehumanitarian.org.

Founded in 1997, Aid India empowers communities, particularly the marginalized, to

break the cycle of generational poverty and become self-reliant by providing support for quality education, health care, and shelter. With support through the Trimble Foundation Fund, Aid India is working with over 1,000 women in rural areas, training and employing them as teachers in after-school education programs. The $35,000 grant made in 2019 as recommended by Trimble Foundation Fund supported the education of girls through capacity building of women educators who then act as role models for village children across 12 districts of Tamilnadu. Guiding Principles Trimble has a long history of donating money, time and product to assist with recovery from major natural disasters. Trimble solutions are applicable to both recovery and rebuilding efforts –from data collection to infrastructure rebuilding (e.g., water, roads, bridges), transportation management and agricultural needs. Trimble Foundation Fund is committed to having a positive and meaningful impact on our communities, especially during times of special need, such as in the event of natural disasters like hurricanes, floods, earthquakes and wildfires that affect our people and the markets that we serve. We are focused on having impacts both directly, through direct monetary contributions to charities with strong local presence, as well as indirectly, by potentially partnering with local Trimble dealers and customers to aid in disaster recovery and rebuilding efforts. 2019 Highlights

• Trimble Foundation Fund engaged with Engineers Without Borders (EWB-USA) and its professional Engineering Service Corp (ESC) to support ESC’s efforts to significantly develop its global disaster response, recovery, and resilience engineering work.

• We recommended a grant of $100,000 that will be used as core funding to significantly expand and scale ESC’s work in “Building Capacity” by training and certifying more engineers who will be able to respond locally to natural disasters and provide damage assessment and engineering services to “Build Back Better.”

• We further focused our mission to work with organizations that can utilize Trimble expertise and technology-enabled solutions in their missions, particularly around developing resilience and rebuilding sustainably.

Engineers Without Borders (EWB-USA) builds a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their

basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. EWB-USA’s Engineering Service Corps (ESC) program draws on the expertise of its most seasoned volunteers from across engineering disciplines and industry sectors. ESC responds to requests for engineering project support from governments, international NGOs, United Nations agencies, local communities and other institutions who lack access to the necessary technical resources to address the engineering challenges facing some of the world’s most vulnerable populations. Projects vary greatly in scale and duration, with focus areas of expertise in disaster response, infrastructure, agriculture, energy and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Volunteers work as part of an integral team that performs a variety of services, including engineering studies, owner’s representation, planning, design, project management, training, and monitoring and evaluation. Trimble Foundation Fund’s support of ESC focuses on building and scaling local engineering capacity that can more effectively respond to natural disasters, especially in highly vulnerable regions of the world. The Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund was established in response to the devastation left in the wake of tornadoes that swept through Greater Dayton on May 27, 2019. Trimble Foundation Fund recommended a donation of $10,000 to allow the Dayton Foundation to distribute funds to charitable organizations that are addressing long-term and immediate needs for those affected by these storms, and assisting in rebuilding and recovery efforts in the region.

Guiding Principles In addition to Trimble Foundation Fund activities, Trimble also encourages local offices to define areas where Trimble’s resources can have the greatest impact in their communities. Our goal is to inspire action at a local level, and a platform where all Trimble employees can give something back. With more than 230 offices around the world, Trimble devised this approach to best serve the unique character of the cities and towns where we operate, from Sunnyvale, California to Danderyd, Sweden to Chennai, India. Encouraging local offices to give back to the community is not only the right thing to do, it is also a way to build culture and a sense of a greater purpose among our employees. Examples of local giving across the globe:

• In Dayton, Ohio, employees purchased military-grade warming items, donating them to the Sub Zero Mission that provides life-saving cold weather gear to the homeless.

• In India, the Trimble Cares team donated funds to assist with recovery after the Gaja cyclone and Kerala flood.

• In Alpharetta, Georgia, employees donated funds to purchase gifts towards the local Santa’s Shop, providing gifts for children in need.

• In Westminster, Colorado, nearly 80 employees donated 226 hours of volunteer work at various charities on Colorado Trimble Volunteer Day.

• In Sunnyvale, California, the Trimble Women’s Network sponsored a Bingo Break for Charity and raised $3,345 from employees to support the local food bank; the amount was matched by Trimble Cares Sunnyvale increasing the total donation to $6,690.
