1.1. Children Members Children from C K Palli visit CYRC on daily basis to access activities available at the centre. They spend an average time of 1 hr to 2hr at the center playing carrom, indoor games, shuttle badminton, reading news paper, reading story books and other activities available. On an average 10 to 15 children visit during the day and 30 to 40 children over the weekend, 6,000+ children days clocked at CYRC for the year 2017-18
1.2. Weekend Activities Over the weekend activities are organised and lead by CYRC staff. Story book reading, story telling, creative arts activity, drawing, teaching indoor games and other sessions
1.3. Schools and Colleges Visiting CYRC Local schools and colleges visit CYRC to access available resource. Students are accompanied with teachers and sessions are conducted by teachers and CYRC at the centre. They utilise Science & Physics Lab. Creative activities are conducted and indoor games are provided for children to play. Below is the summary of schools and colleges visiting CYRC:

1.4. CampsCYRC & Mogga partnered with Kalpavalli team to design and execute Wildlife and Ecology based camps for children and youth. Children and Youth before attending camp at CYRC they visited Kalpavali Forest site to learn about Watershed Management & impact on ecology post that children & youth at CYRC recreated their learning and observation in the form of building a live water shed model at CYRC. Children designed & created with rock, mud and plants a model ecosystems showcasing the
problems and remedies for soils erosion. They built 2 types of landscapes on one side of the landscape had watershed conservation practices and on the opposite side no conservation practices. This model allows to understand the impact based on observation. During the camp children also learnt about climate regulation services, the role of micro climates, water cycle, water quality, layers of earth, ground water with live models and experiments.

1.5. Summer Vacations In 2017 Summer children attend day summer camp for the month fo May and 10 days in June. Daily average of 40 children participated in activities at the centre, no. of children days were over 1600+ . Children from local village, hostlers participated in activities at CYRC. They were actively engaged in reading book, story writing, solving puzzles, gathering information for project work, creative arts activity - origami, drawing, painting, collage & painting. Short videos and documentary related to social issues and geographical aspects were viewed. Children also got access to science based fun activities, indoor games - chess, caroms, connecting four, UNO, business game, Chinese checker, snakes & ladders, ludo. Sports activities included volley ball, throw ball, cricket & kabaddi.
1.6. Trainings Creative Arts Based Training The training included origami, making of paper flowers, door decorations, ear studs, pen stands, geometrical shapes, pictures with finger prints and friendship bands.
Science Based Training Trainings on scientific topics like light refraction, LASER, forming images using lenses & resonance, Raman Effect were explained in live demonstrations conducted by Chitra Bhanu of Vijayawada. Total of 172 children from 4 schools participated in the training. Training Details are as follows.

Engagement ‣ Ambedkar Jayanti
On April 14th, 42 students participated in celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti by participating in competitions such as songs, elocutions, essay writing & drawing. ‣ Environment Day
The event was connected in 4 school premises a total of 236 students participated. Children were engaged in natural painting, web of life game and viewed documentaries related to environment.
‣ Junior Sports Day On August 6, 297 Children competed in Junior Sports Day event. Competed in sack race, skipping, running, musical chairs, spoon & lemon, dog & bone, frog jump. 72 gifts & prizes were distributed.
‣ Independence Day On August 15, 115 children participated in flag hoisting followed by fun games and drawing competition. Students were educated on the significance of the Independence Day.
‣ Teacher’s Day On September 5th, 46 students participated in celebrating the day and took part in essay competition on “Characteristics of a Good teacher”.
‣ Gandhi Jayanthi On October 2nd, 72 students participated in singing songs, dancing & drawing activities.
‣ Children’s Day & Senior Sports Day On November 14th, we celebrated both event where 350 children from 8 villages belonging to 3 mandals attended. Children competed in Kho-Kho, Kabaddi & Long jump, the competition was age & gender specific. Conduced the event by sining & Chekkabajana performance.
‣ Essay Competition On December 11th, 90 Children participated in essay competition. Topic ‘ Need for a library and its significance’. Prizes were distributed post event.

‣ Muggula Potee (Ranogoli Competition) On January 12th, 150 children from 6 villages belonging to 2 mandals participated. This year 15 boys also participated in the event. Children engaged in Drawing, Dot drawing & Rangoli design. 150 unique rangoli designs were drawn by children. Special prizes & gifts where distributed.
‣ Republic Day: On January 26th, 20 children joined us to celebrate the event
‣ Science Week: ‘National Science Day’ was celebrated on February 23rd, 92 children presented 41 experiments from 9 schools spread over 6 villages belonging to 3 mandals. 200 students from 5 local schools visited the exhibition.

Mobile Activity centre reached out to total of 1192 children across 30 schools over 26 days in a year. Focused on Science Lab & Creative Lab, students experienced & participated in age specific science experiments, ill effects of smoking, natural painting, greeting cards made with quilling paper, pictures with finger prints, paper cups painting, flower making, friendship bands, spray painting, making rings, wall hangings made of paper, story reading, drawing, colouring, singing, collage, web of life.
‣ Vijaya Krishna from Bangalore conducted training & awareness on career guidance for youth on August 12th involving 34 youth.
‣ U. Renuka & Haritha received Youth Fellowship that helped them in paying their college fees and travel expense.

5.1 Building Maintenance ‣ CYRC premises shifted to a building belonging to Timbaktu Collective on Dec 26th. ‣ The center went through renovation by repairing the walls and changing the roof of the building.
Constructing 3 new toilets and ‣ The activity center was reimagined and re-organsied where dedicated activity was assigned. ‣ Books at CRC Library was sorted to keep relevant books and organise the library to be child friendly.
5.2. Visitors ‣ On April 13, 20 members from ‘Yashika’- MadhyaPradesh visited CYRC ‣ 24 students and 3 teachers from Puvidam School of Dharmapuri visited CYRC from October 11th to
13th. Students participated in 10 scientific experiments, library classes, making hangings, pictures with finger prints, making cap, tumbler, flower vase, garlands, wrist watches with papers in Origami, spray painting, thread pulling and indoor games.
‣ Suresh, a volunteer from ‘Asha’ visited CRC on Sep 9th and he was briefed about CRC and its activities.
‣ Visitors group visited as part of Visitors day organised by Timbaktu Collective once in every quarter. ‣ 8 students from Thiruvanthapuram visited and were taught crafts on 28th of Sep.
5.3. Donation ‣ Arun Babu and his colleagues from Canara Bank, Anantapur donated books and other study
material worth Rs 6,000/-
