Mr. Jakimenko has been the Rector of Estonian Aviation Academy since August 2014, where he was previously working as a part-time Technical Training Instructor, simultaneously being employed by Air Maintenance Estonia as a Quality Manager (responsible for the Part 145 and Part 21 production organisation quality system). Mr. Jakimenko holds an MBA in Technology Management, which he received from University of Tartu in 2006. He is also holding a Diploma in Aviation Engineering from Estonian Aviation Academy.

Since early 2009, Didier Granger is the President and CEO of OEMServices, a company founded by Original Equipment Manufacturers (Diehl Aerospace, Liebherr Aerospace, Thales Avionics and Zodiac Aerospace), dedicated to the support of the aerospace aftermarket. Peter Ansbro Vice President, Technical Marketing Inmarsat Aviation Peter Ansbro has 25 years’ experience in telecommunications covering R&D, Service Delivery, Network Procurement, Design, Delivery and Operations. Before joining Inmarsat Aviation in December 2014, as VP of Service Delivery and Assurance, he spent 10 years building and operating Service Management teams and infrastructure for passenger telecommunication services on-board aircraft. He had significant roles in several start-ups, not least in building of nationwide GSM operators. Dr. Ansbro holds several patents as well as a Ph.D in Electronic Engineering and a BSc in Mathematics & Electronic Engineering.

Pascal Parant currently serves as Vice President, Marketing of AAR CORP. Mr. Parant joined the company in 1999 and has held several positions in different divisions that have given him a global view of the company. He became Vice President, Marketing in January 2007.In this role, Mr. Parant is building long-term relationships with existing clients and attracting new airline and OEM customers. In addition, he acts as a liaison between different AAR business units, increasing the flow of timely information across international locations and with customers.Mr. Parant is a graduate of ESTACA (92), a French Aeronautical Engineering School.Mr. Parant has been a board member of Air Mediterranee, a French Charter Airlines, since 1997.Mr. Parant was elected in 2012 to the board of USAIRE, an association of American and European member companies focused on aerospace and advanced technologies, and became President in October 2014.

Andrey Baydarov is the Head of Engines Teardown and Parts Trading Unit at FL Technics. He has extensive experience in financial and statistical aspects, mathematical modeling of overhaul costs of aircraft engine maintenance, specializing in CFM, IAE, GE and PW engines. Andrey has joined FL Technics as Chief Analyst for engine and APU projects and actively developed engine material trading for 3rd party customers and internal engine inventory management.He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics as well as a Master’s degree in High-end Technology Management.

Friedhelm KappeiSenior Manager Central and Performance Engineering (THIE)MTU Maintenance

Dr. Friedhelm Kappei heads the Central and Performance Engineering Team at MTU Maintenance Hannover and is responsible for the Engine Trend Monitoring, among other central engineering tasks. He began his aviation career at Fairchild Dornier in 2000, and did a PhD at the Institute of Aircraft Propulsion Systems at the University of Stuttgart. He then joined MTU Aero Engines as an engine performance engineer in 2005. After working as an equipment engineer for the development of the TP400 and becoming an airworthiness engineer on behalf of MTU at Europrop International in Madrid in 2011, he took over his current role in 2013.

In August 2015, responsibilities extended to cover EMEA and South Asia regions.

Ricardo Carvalho has a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Master degree in Structural Optimization & Design both from the Engineering School of the Technical University in Lisbon. Ricardo started his career in 2004 at the Engineering School as a researcher in the structural analysis area for aeronautical components. In 2007 he was co-founder of a small technological company that works in the computer simulation analysis business. In 2010, impelled by his aeronautical passion, he moved to TAP Portugal and became in charge of aircraft structures for TAP narrow body fleet. In 2015 he was appointed to lead the A320 Sharklets Retrofit embodiment for TAP fleet and third party costumers. Ricardo is a trainer on the mechanics basic training & A320 type training programs and a Design Engineer at TAP Part 21 organization for the aircraft structures subjects.Additionally, he is a member of the Portuguese Engineers Society and a speaker in some aeronautical events.

Emmanuel Marquis has been working for TRIGO as the executive VP of the Aerospace Business Line since 2014—with strong focus on developing international activities all along the aerospace supply chain and supporting a one stop shop concept for all quality related issues. Before joining TRIGO, he had worked for THALES, where he had been in charge of the worldwide sales of air traffic management radars. Later, he continued his career at SAFRAN in the aircraft engineering business unit, being involved in aircraft development and cabin customization issues.Emmanuel holds an engineering degree in Electronics. As an aviation enthusiast, he is also a private pilot and sports aircraft builder.
