Transcript of Announcing ACEO Forums
The Atlanta CEO Council empowers local CEOs to
excel by connecting them to their most powerful
resource: each other.
ACEO 1.0
HistoryAt the turn of the 21st century, successful technology entrepreneurs Palaniswamy “Raj” Rajan and Vinod Keni had the audacity to challenge the way business was done in the South. The two outsiders didn’t come out of home-grown companies or their offshoots. They weren’t privy to the good-ol’-boy networks that were prevalent at the time. Instead, they saw an opportunity for business leaders, particularly C-suite executives, to come together on the basis of meritocratic ideals – ability, effort and impact – to accelerate success. They recognized the importance of connecting business leaders with their most valuable resource: each other. These principles formed the basis of the Atlanta CEO Council.
