Wednesday: (Bria J) People with intellectual and developmental disabilities are capable and enjoy sharing life experiences for example listening to music, watching the latest movies ect. As well as working together toward athletic excellence and benefiting one-to-one friendship.

(Briana M)We ask that you help us change the conversation and help eliminate the demeaning use of the R-word from today’s common language and replace it with “RESPECT”

Thursday: (Briseida M) We are encouraging everyone to visit www.R-word.org and make your pledge to not use the R-word and we have set a goal of reaching 700 pledges on February 26, 2010.
