Another large Hydrohammer working in China

IHC Hydrohammer, a business unit of the Dutch based Royal IHC,recently commissioned the S-1800 Hydrohammer with 5.5m PileGuiding for the Chinese Offshore Wind market.

Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering, a joint venture betweenZPMC and Longyuan, is using the S-1800 hydraulic piling hammer fromChinese contractor 3 rd Harbour Engineering to drive flanged monopiles forthe Longyuan Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Wind Farm. With a total of 36flanged monopile foundations and 14 tripod foundations, supporting 4MWturbines, the Chinese Offshore Wind Farm will deliver 200MW. The jointventure already installed 31 foundations until now for this project.

At this momentIHC Hydrohammer is manufacturing the S-2000 hydraulic piling hammerfor Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering. They choose IHCequipment because of the reliability and efficiency. The S-2000 will soonbe the 4 th piling hammer in the Chinese Offshore Wind market.
