Media patronage

The Conference is addressed not only to researchers and practitioners interested in conducting forest economic activity in the mountains and regions under industry pressure; it is also dedicated to those who are involved in issues concerning forestry and related sciences. The Conference will be a great opportunity to present results of investigations concerning topics listed herein, discuss actual trends in science, as well as exchange theoretical and practical experience within a scope of forestry.

Framework programme of the Conference

Plenary session – invited speakers presentations, oral and poster session (September 22, 2014)

Oral and poster presentations will anticipate in content-related topics as follows: 1. Forest site classification science 2. Silviculture 3. Forest and environment protection 4. Forest management and productivity 5. Forest utilization 6. Water and climate

Field session (September 23, 2014): optional: mountain forests or post-industrial areas in facilities in the territory under administration of the Regional Directorate of National Forest Holding State Forests in Katowice.

Participation cost

Participants with oral/poster presentation 180 EUR

The Conference fee encloses the Conference materials, participation in sessions (including field session), sustenance (lunches, official dinner, catering during field session).
