In high school she was interested in artistic endeavours, she

continued to study painting and developed photography skills whilst

working in various jobs.

In 1970 she started her career as a staff photographer working for the

rolling stone magazine. Leibovitz worked for the magazine until 1983,

and her photographs of celebrities helped define the Rolling Stone

look. She was awarded The Royal Photographic Society's Centenary

Medal and Honorary Fellowship.

Leibovitz's portrait of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in

1980. This image showed the passion between John

Lennon and Yoko, John states ‘You've captured our

relationship exactly’

Annie Leibovitz took this photo

after she had done a famous

version of this. In this she

showed comedy aswell as

meaning that continued from

the famous version. In this

version she starrs Jonah Hill,

Jason Segal and Seth Rogan as

‘naked’ ‘women’ and Paul Rudd

as the ‘lucky’ man surrounded

by them.

In this photo Annie has captured

Queen Latifah as ursula the

octopus from The Little

Mermaid. She has mixed famous

faces to make one. I think she has

almost tried to make one

powerful character by mixing an

evil with a good.

In this image annie has used comedy by placing

massive star Whoopi Goldberg in a bath full of

milk. The picture almost looks as if it hasn’t been

set up, its looks as if they were messing arpund

whilst waiting for something. The bath doesn’t look

as if it is in a bathrrom but rather placed in a

random room as there are no tiles on the walls or

wires leading to the electrial socket hanging out the

wall. Whoopi looks as if she was pulling a random

face rather than posing for the camera.
