Facts•Annie Leibovitz was born on October 2,1949(age 62) Waterbury,Connecticut, U.S •Her nationality is American•Her field is Photography•She trained in San Francisco Art Institute#•Her mother Marilyn Leibovitz was a modern dance teacher instructor Estonian Jewish heritage; her father, Sam Leibovitz, was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S Air Force.•In high school, she became interested in various artistic subjects, and began to write and play music. She went to the San Francisco Art Institute, where she studied painting. For a few years, she continued to develop her photography skills while working various jobs.

Rolling StonesLeibovitz photographed The Rolling Stones in San Francisco in 1971 and 1972, and served as the concert-tour photographer for Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas '75. Her favorite photo from the tour was a photo of Mick Jagger in an elevator. (see bottom right) The next slide contains some tour photo's.

Vanity Fair•In the 1980s, Leibovitz's new style of lighting and use of bold colors and poses got her a position with Vanity Fair magazine.• Amongst the most famous of these was the August 1991 Leibovitz cover featuring a naked, pregnant Demi Moore, an image entitled More Demi Moore that to this day holds a spot in pop culture.•The next slide contains examples of the vanity fair photo's.

Disney Photography•Annie leibovitz has made lots of disney themed photo's such as Alice and wonderland,Peter pan,The Little Mermaid,Pocahontas and many more.•In 2007, the Walt Disney Company hired her to do a series of photographs with celebrities in various roles and scenes for Disney Parks "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign.•The next slide contains some examples
