The Norms set by it for the discharge of its functions :-

1. Time norms:

Return of register documents within 30 minutes in the ComputerizedRegistration system.

2. Issue of Certified copy of the documents:

1. Within 3 days if delivered manually.

2. Within 30 minutes if Xerox copy is issued.

3. Issue of Encumbrance Certificates:

1. Within 10 days from the date of receipt of the application for a search of 15 years (manually).

2. Within a day if the search is for one year (manually).

3. Within 20 minutes, for the period the Encumbrance Certificate Datais held in the digitized form (EC Data held in the digitized form fromSeptember 2003 only).
