2). Social, economic and environmental aspects ofthe project in brief.
Socio-economic conditions of thesurrounding villages indicate thatemployment generation isseasonally. The occupationalactivities are agriculture and cattlerearing. The mining activity willprovide employment to localpeople which will increase socio-economic status of the area. TheSands is the main raw material formaking roads & filling material. The mining activity will providedirect employment to local peopleand indirect employment ofsemiskilled and unskilled workersengaged in transportation, tradingand other allied activities, whichwill improve socio- economicstatus of the areaEnvironmental- As the mininglease area is part of active rivercourse and suffer floods everymonsoon season, the landdegradation impact due to theexcavation of sand, stone and bajriundertaken during dry period ofthe year will get replenished byfresh material and there shall benot be any change in land usepattern in core zone i.e. mininglease area.
Plantation will be done along theroad-sides and also at the crushersite after consultation with localvillagers/authority.
