KEY POINTS

The key points of the Indonesian Peacekeepers success in Mission :

• Professional and Discipline in carrying task and duties.

• Adjustable reliable in all conditions.

• Firm but not harsh.

• Being Friendly and polite without leaving the firm and impartiality as peacekeepers.

• Availability of capable Troop as requested by UN and Standby Force which able to be sent rapidly.

• Multidimensional Peacekeeping Operation.

• Gap in Training Standard amongst TCC.

• Robust Peacekeeping needs new legality and rule.

FUTURE CHALLENGES

• Good and enough Resources to meet the request of UN (Human Capital, Material, Doctrine and Facilities)

• Good impression of Indonesia.

• Sentul Base is the biggest and most complete PKC Facility in Region, could be promoted as Regional PKC.

FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES

Continuing the Construction of PKC Base in Sentuland to complete the supporting facilities inside.

Providing Stand By Force and enlisted in UNSAS list.

Promote the PKC Base to be UN Regional PKC.

Developing Doctrine, Training and Education regarding PKO, base on valid UN Standard and rule.
