Instruction Manual & User Guide
2 9977 & 9978 – Anabelle Cot / Toddler Bed – 11-09
Warnings These instructions detail the safe use, assembly and maintenance of your product. Please read these instructions carefully
and ensure that they are followed at all times.
• This cot has been manufactured for use with a mattress which measures 690mm wide by 1300mm long and
no more than 150mm in thickness. The width and length are specified because it is important that the gaps
between the mattress and the sides and ends of the cot will not exceed 40mm. This is to minimize the risk of a
child’s limb becoming caught in the gap. The thickness of the mattress has been specified to ensure that the
depth of the cot is greater than 500mm deep with the mattress base in the lower position to minimize the risk
of a child’s climbing or falling out of the cot.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure safety features are not compromised.
• The 'Drop Side' must be raised when a child is in the cot.
• Do not provide a foot hold for your child to climb out by fixing any toy or decoration to the inside of the
product.
• Ensure that the cot is placed at a reasonable distance from curtains, blinds, heaters and power points.
• Keep any medication, string, elastic, small toys or small items such as money, out of reach from any position in
the cot.
• Do not place additional children, bags, goods or accessories in or on the cot except as recommended in the
manufacturer's instructions.
• Before making adjustments to the cot ensure that the child's body is clear of any moving parts.
• The cot is designed for one child only.
• Ensure that the cot is completely assembled and check that all parts are securely tightened before placing a
child in the cot.
• This cot has been manufactured for use with a mattress which measures 1300mm LONG by 690mm WIDE and
100 - 150mm THICK.
• To prevent falls, the maximum mattress thickness should not exceed 150 mm.
• To prevent falls, the mattress base of this cot should be adjusted to the lowest position before the child can sit
up.
• Ensure that unused mattress base mounting holes on the ‘End Panels’ are blanked off with the supplied
blanking cap and screw arrangement and tightened to prevent finger entrapment and swallowing hazards.
• This cot is not intended for commercial use.
