Project Description:

MDE as it is known is a web based application that allows booking of passes, making pre-orders, and selecting amusements while the guests are on board. So that when you step into the fun zone, you get going right away and the matters of your needs are managed by the servers around you without you even have spelled a word.The web based nature of the application allows it to be used from anywhere. And guest can also integrate their Facebook account with MDE. That done, the next time user doesn’t need to remember their MDE username and password separately. Simply using the Facebook credentials will do. Moreover, it also can post guest’s status on Facebook timeline without user’s intervention – but that is subject to guest’s approval.Those who have a reservation done already can claim their booking easily. It only requires supplying the reservation ID and date of birth and the guest can sign up using a simple form. Having logged in, the user can easily setup a party, plan food for individuals or groups, select various attractions from a list, and update their pre-order anytime.Ultimately, this web application ensures that while in amusement and fun zone, the guest simply has nothing to worry about – no queues, no waiting, only enter in and have fun.Role: Testing team member

Project Description:

This application handles the order serving and related functions in a restaurant. From guest’s arrival to readiness of order to it being served on to the table of correct user, it does it all. The user of the application is a runner who gets his iPod registered with the application. He gets notification on the readiness of the order at either side of kitchen. The order then is bumped on to the cart and is carried to the table.After the confirmation, the order is placed on table. After the guests have eaten the food and have left the table, the table status is updated to Dirty. The busser mode is enabled and the table is cleaned. After the clean is marked the number of available tables for a sections get incremented and table’s status becomes Available.The seating assistant section of the application lists all the tables that are available, occupied, and dirty. Classification is done on sections and then tables..
