Suggested Timeline: 

5/4/20: Complete #1 - Read Aloud and Tree Map (see below) 

5/5/20: Complete #2 - Pick an animal and What If I Had   Animal Teeth Report 

5/6/20: Begin #3 - Research and create a Circle Map of    your animal. 

5/7/20: Complete #3 - Research and create a Circle Map of  your animal. 

5/8/20: Complete #4 - Animal Tree Map 

5/11/20 - 5/14/20: Complete #5 - Use your Animal Tree Map to create a poster and write about your animal. 

5/15/20: Complete #6 - Don’t forget to share it on FlipGrid OR Seesaw. 

  

   

 

Apply 1. Use the information you learned from the Read Aloud to 

complete Animal Teeth Tree Map .   2. Pick the animal that you like best. Then complete What 

If I Had Animal Teeth Portrait.  3. Use the resources above to learn all about the animal 

you have chosen. Create a circle map and write down all the details you have learned about your animal. You will need to either print the circle map copy or create your own circle map. 

4. Complete the Animal Report Tree Map. 5. Create a poster and write a paragraph about your 

animal.

● Your poster will give information about an animal and its features. Include images that illustrate the information. Your poster will have text that tells about the features of your animal. 

● Make a drawing or use photographs you find online. Add labels to show body parts. 

● In your paragraph, write four or five details about your animal. Don’t forget to start with your main idea! Share a picture copy of your sloppy copy with your teacher before you write your final copy.  

6. Create a video of you sharing your poster to SeeSaw. Follow the directions unter “Share” for how to share your poster with your teacher.  

 

 

 

Share  Last, you must share your poster to show that you have completed the assignment. Once you share your poster, you will receive a grade and feedback from your teacher. There are three ways to share your poster:  

● 1. FlipGrid - Record yourself explaining your poster. ● 2. SeeSaw - Create a video explaining your poster. ● 3. Optional - If you cannot access these apps, Google 

Meet with your teacher during virtual office hours to share about your poster.
