The leather gets its name from the dye used for colouring it. It is also considered among the best types of hides as the surface is coloured without any further application of synthetic coating. The surface retains all the characteristics of animal skin.Its sheen improves with time. Leather pants and other hide products are widely available in this material.

This material is more durable than the above type due to application of synthetic coating. The coating contains a small amount of coating which gives it the name semi aniline. The coating is slightly stain resistance. Leather shorts and jackets are also available in this leather type

Pigmented leather is the most durable type and due to the reason it is widely used for car and furniture upholstery. The pigmented polymer coating is strong and good at preventing scratches. Thickness of coating differs from product to product.Enquire about the hide type when buying leather jackets and trousers
