Angles in Life Project
description
Transcript of Angles in Life Project
Acute Angle
An acute angle is an angle with the measurement of less than 90 degrees.
Right Angle
A right angle is an angle with the measurement of exactly 90 degrees.
Obtuse Angle
An obtuse angle is an angle with the measurement of more than 90 degrees.
Straight Angle
A straight angle is an angle with a measurement of exactly 180 degrees.
Complementary Angle
A complementary angle is the sum of two angles’ measurements that must equal 90 degrees.
Supplementary Angle
A supplementary angle is the sum of two angles’ measurements that must equal 180 degrees.
Bisecting Angle
A bisecting angle is an angle that is split in half, therefore the measurements of both angles are the same.
Vertical Angle
A vertical angle is an intersection of two lines and the non- adjacent ends are vertical angles. Vertical angles also have to same measurement.
Linear Pair
A linear angle is when there are 2 lines and one of those lines stop at the other line so that they don’t intersect. The measurement must add up to 180 degrees.
