Page 2: Angles

Complimentary angles

• Complimentary angles- two angles added together to equal an angle of 90 degrees.

Page 3: Angles

Supplementary angles

• Supplementary angle- tow angles added together to equal an angle of 180 degrees.

Page 4: Angles

Vertical angles

• Vertical angle- two equal or opposite angles formed by the intersection of two straight lines.

Linear pairs

Transversals

• Transversals- A line intersecting 2 or more lines.

Page 7: Angles

Alternate interior angles

• Alternate interior angles- Angle formed between parallel lines by a third line that intersects them.

Page 8: Angles

Alternate exterior angles

• Alternate exterior angles- Angle formed outside parallel lines by a third line that intersects them.

Page 9: Angles

Corresponding angles

• Corresponding angles- 2 nonadjacent angles made by the crossing of 2 lines by a third line, the other exterior, and both being on the same side of the third line.

Parallel lines

• Parallel lines- Lines that extend in the same direction.

Perpendicular lines

• Perpendicular lines- Lines that met at a right angle.

Page 12: Angles

Right angles

• Right angle- a angle formed by 2 perpendicular lines that intersect.

Learning slide

• I learned what a transversal was, And it’s important so I know what it is when we do tests.
