Angelika Fitz | CV Angelika Fitz (1967) is a cultural theorist, curator and author running her own office in Vienna since 1998. She curated projects for the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development, the European Cultural Capital Linz 2009, the Architectural Centre Vienna, Kunsthalle Wien, Secession, Künstlerhaus Wien as well as for the European Union - India Economic Cross Cultural Programme. 2003 and 2005 she curated the Austrian Contribution to the International Architecture Biennial in Sao Paulo. From 1998 onwards she has realised several projects in South-Asia, among them the public intervention series „Boxwallahs“ in New Dehli and the exhibition „Capital & Karma“ at Kunsthalle Vienna. Her recent curated projects include „Realstadt. Wishes Knocking on Reality’s Doors“ and „Arbeitende Orte/ Working Places“. Currently she works with Rose Epple and the Goethe-Institut on the project series „We-Traders. Swapping Crisis for City“ taking place in Lisbon, Madrid, Berlin, Toulouse and Turin. Since 2012 she is curator of „Weltstadt – Who creates the city?“ together with Matthias Böttger. She teaches internationally. Currently she is Guest Professor at the future.lab of the TU Vienna, before she was Guest Professor at Da-Yeh Universität in Taiwan. Angelika Fitz | Kurzbio Angelika Fitz (1967) ist Kulturwissenschaftlern, Kuratorin, Autorin, seit 1998 mit eigenem Büro in Wien. Sie entwickelt und realisiert Projekte an den Schnittstellen von Architektur, Wissenschaft und Urbanismus. Viele dieser Projekte produzieren Plattformen für den Wissenstransfer zwischen Forschung und Gesellschaft sowie zwischen Kulturen. Sie verantwortet u.a. Projekte für das deutsche Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Bau und Stadtentwicklung, die Europäische Kulturhauptstadt Linz 2009, das Architekturzentrum Wien, die Kunsthalle Wien, Secession, Künstlerhaus Wien sowie für das European Union - India Economic Cross Cultural Programme. 2003 und 2005 war sie Kommissärin für den Österreichischen Beitrag zur Architekturbiennale Sao Paulo. Zwischen 1998 und 2005 hat sie mehrere Projekte im südasiatischen Raum realisiert, darunter die Reihe „Boxwallahs“ in Neu Dehli und die Ausstellung „Kapital & Karma“ in der Kunsthalle Wien. Zuletzt kuratierte sie die Projekte „Realstadt. Wünsche als Wirklichkeit“ in Berlin und „Arbeitende Orte“. Aktuell arbeitet sie mit Rose Epple und dem Goethe-Institut an der Projektreihe „We-Traders. Tausche Krise gegen Stadt“ mit Projektorten in Lissabon, Madrid, Berlin, Turin und Toulouse. Seit 2012 leitet sie gemeinsam mit Matthias Böttger und Tim Rieniets das Projekt „Weltstadt – Who creates the city?“. Sie verfügt über internationale Lehrerfahrung. Zur Zeit ist sie Gastprofessorin im future.lab der TU Wien, zuvor u.a. Gastprofessorin an der Da-Yeh Universität in Taiwan. Sie ist Autorin und Herausgeberin zahlreicher Publikationen, und verfasst Beiträge für Zeitschriften wie archplus, Bauwelt, springerin, Kunstforum sowie für Architektur- und Urbanismuspublikationen.
