Technical Solutions, a new division of
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), was
established in 2016, when HII acquired
Camber Corporation and consolidated the
existing service businesses of HII into one
operating division. The consolidation involved
the merging of AMSEC, Continental Maritime
of San Diego, Newport News Industrial, SN3,
Undersea Solutions Group and
UniversalPegasus International.
Technical Solutions comprises HII’s services
capabilities, including training systems,
logistics support, engineering, information
technology, fleet maintenance and
modernization, unmanned undersea systems,
nuclear engineering and fabrication, and
engineering for the oil and gas industry.
We employ more than 5,000 people working in 35 states and 11 countries, with mobile “fly-away” teams that support emergent situations around the globe.
