Senior Project Manager

SUMMARYWith experience across several international development sectors and a complementary range of operational and technical skills, Andrew currently focuses on delivering projects which are designed to improve the governance of tropical forests, particularly in West and Central Africa. A PRINCE2 Practitioner and French-speaker, he has supported the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) initiative in seven countries worldwide since 2010.

Andrew has seven years of progressive, professional project and programme management experience. He currently manages DFID’s 5-country FLEGT Facilitation Unit in Africa and DFID’s Facilitation and Grant programme in Guyana, as part of a portfolio of interconnected environmental development projects. With broad experience in field and desk-based research, monitoring and evaluation, conference and seminar production, Andrew is a reliable manager, comfortable working with and representing organisations to stakeholders of all backgrounds.

With direct experience in 14 countries in Africa, Latin America and Asia, including as Team Leader of the Forest Governance Forum event series, and an extensive global network, his output is characterised by a proactive and detailed approach grounded in a technical understanding of forest governance and development.
