Linda wore Christian Louboutin pumps.

Bridesmaid Monica wore a blush-pink,

chiffon gown by cachè couture atelier.

It took four full days for Karen

Tran and her team from karen

tran floral & events to

produce the elaborate floral

designs for the wedding. One of

the biggest floral installations

was on the grand staircase in

the lobby at the terminal city

club. Guests were absolutely

wowed by thousands of blooms

as they walked up the staircase

to reach the second floor, where

the ceremony took place.

The ceremony was hosted in the Presidents Ballroom where Karen Tran and team created another floral dreamscape. A long, white aisle runner, lined with thousands of white rose petals, led to an enormous (20-ft long!) floral wall. The floral feature wall was created with hundreds of hydrangea, orchids, and roses in shades of white, cream, and blush pink.Linda and Jack exchanged their vows in front of the magnificent floral

backdrop while standing on a rug made of rose petals. Karen Ell served as officiant, and a musical trio from man about town entertainment played throughout the ceremony. Although the floral was certainly incredible, it was a furry guest who stole the show. It was a classic marriage ceremony until a surprise ring bearer brought the bride and groom their rings—Hugo, the brides puppy, was the hit of the ceremony!

CINDERELLATOUCHESAfter the ceremony, the newlyweds and their bridal party were whisked off in a horse and carriage to take photos across the city. Vancou-ver’s aaa horse & carriage provided the Cinderella-like transportation.

“Wine Fairies” from total entertainment network swung from the ceiling delivering champagne to guests as they made their way downstairs for cocktail hour.

FLORALFANTASYThe reception took place in the ballroom where karen tran floral & events created a “truly spectacular” floral fantasy using tens of thou-sands of blooms, starting with floral garland entrance swags and an ornate series of over-sized floral-framed mirrors that were placed throughout the room.

A giant floral wall served as a dream-like photo backdrop where guests could snap souvenir pics

throughout the evening. A white settee from art of the party design inc. was placed in front.

and printed by making memories with

scrapbooking.

“It was over-the-top gorgeous from head-to-toe.” – linda

Karen Tran and team

created a magnificent

floral hedge, placed on a

riser and accented with

candles for Linda and

Jack’s head table.

The room was draped in sheer white fabric by proline trading and

crystal curtains were hung from the ceilings for additional bling.

A custom white and gold

dance floor (produced by

wrap guys) showcased

a monogram of the

couple’s initials.

SWEETSCENTEDThe terminal city club’s pastry chef, Fumiko Moreton, created the couple’s seven-tiered, white wedding cake. The white-on-white creation featured a hand-stenciled paisley pattern and the base of the cake was surrounded by fresh blooms. “It was truly spectacular,” says the couple.

ENDNOTESlife studios inc. was on hand to film the entire day and produced a same-day edit that was screened prior to the dancing portion of the evening. A photo booth from the collective you produced personalized photos of each guest that served as wedding favors. the noisy house band performed after dinner and a DJ from man about town entertainment kept the party going all night long.

Linda and Jack couldn’t have been more thrilled with how their wedding unfolded. “It was perfect,” says the couple, who now reside in Vancouver.
