Ancillary Task-Researching for ShootsBy Bethany Bouchareb

For my Ancillary Tasks I will only use 1 model for both my web pop up and for my sponsorship. I will also use the same model for both ancillary tasks. I will also be using the same outfit for both, as I will portray it as a best seller.

Hair My model will have: • Long hair – this is already accessible as she

already has long hair so she doesn’t need hair extensions

• Dark hair- this is already accessible as she already has dark hair so there is no need for hair dye

• Straight hair- this is already accessible as she has naturally straight hair however to achieve maximum straightness I will bring in straighteners to iron out any kinks

• Neat hair- to achieve this I will bring in a hair brush and brush her hair throughout the filming and shoot to make sure it is constantly neat

Makeup My model will have: • Bright heavy eye shadow – to achieve this I will

bring in an eye shadow pallet with various different colors, I will also bring in eye shadow brushes so I can put the different colors on her

• Foundation- I will ask her to bring in her foundation so it is suitable to her skin color and will make her facial make up seem natural

• Bronzer- I will ask her to bring in her bronzer so that it is again suitable to her skin, and I will only apply enough to give a healthy glow on her face, I will also use the bronzer harsher amongst her cheekbones to define them more and bring a contour to her face

• Blusher- I will bring in my blusher to give a nice little rosy effect to her cheeks

CostumeMy model will have:• An asymmetrical pink skirt with

a matching shirt which has palm trees across it- I will achieve obtaining this by asking my model to bring it in as it is hers, I have chosen to use it as it is the quirky style I want for the clothes I am advertising

• Pale pink cleat heels- I will obtain getting this for my ancillary tasks by asking my model to bring it in as she already owns them, these heels also match the outfit

Props

In my ancillary tasks I will not be using props as I feel they would take too much attention away from the outfit which I want top be the primary thing for audience, the secondary will be the model.

Location

For the location of both of my ancillary tasks I will use: • The studio- I will access this by

using the studio in college and booking times for it to be able to use it without interruptions

• A white backdrop- I will access this by using the white backdrop we have in college in the studio, I will simply put it on the backdrop holder
