The layout of the album cover is slightly different compared to other album covers of the same genre, the common look would be to have the artist and big funky text to stand out and give the artist a sense of power. However, this Digi pack has been laid out diagonally which created a mood for the audience. The diagonal line connotes movement, action and speed which reflects the image used for the cover as most hip-hop music videos tend to use expensive cars.

Kirko Bangz – DIGI PACKThe front cover of the Digi pack shows Kirko Bangz sat on the car and the back cover shows him sat in the car with the door open; these images are typical for hip-hop music videos as sports cars are used to give a person authority and shows they are successful. Kirko Bangz is wearing baggy jeans, hoody and a cap which suggests that he's a chav and stereotypically chav’s listen to hip-hop music. The colors used for the cover fits well with the genre and also makes the audience get the hint of what kind music is in the album.

Two different fonts are used for this Digi pack, the artists name is larger compared to the album name and song titles and is also in orange to make it stand out from the cover as it is the only thing in orange; this font also has an outline which gives the artist authority and show his name is well known. Both fonts have a sharp edge to them and are fonts that stand out; this adds emphasis to the titles and grabs people attention. The text have been laid out in a diagonal angle which goes with the whole cover. The artists name and the color of the ink scattered on both covers match and the ink connotes petrol leaking according to this image. The text also connotes a sense of aggression which implies there may be use of swear words in the music and it will have an emotional impact to its audience.

The Digi pack cover included 2 logos on the front and another 3 logos on the back; this shows the audience that it is an authorized album and has been published professionally. There is a barcode on the cover which is scanned by the customers which allows them to get the app or the album on their mobile phones.

Kirko Bangz – Magazine Poster

Kirko Bangz has been placed on the front cover of a magazine. The layout and composition of the content is common as it used for most magazines. However the image used for the poster is something different as he is in a recording studio; this reflects to the fact that is he a new singer and still trying to gain fame and authority.

The body language of the artist in the poster shows he’s laid out; this shows the audience that he is confident in his work. The image also shows he’s pointing up; which is used to show he’s pointing up to the magazine name and from this we can see that they are working together to promote each other. The way he’s dressed is casual but urban at the same time; hip hop music is classed as urban and it is street related.

The fonts used are used in whites and grey/silvers, the white connotes purity which also reflects to the name of the magazine ‘pure’ dope. The greyish silver colour text connotes wealth and compliments the artist making him seem rich and powerful in the eye of the public which is a convention of stereotypical male artists. Therefore, this is appealing for the target audience as it enables them to idolise the artist. The text also signifies Bling because of the gradient used and fits in well with the genre of the music they are trying to promote which is hip-hop.

The colours used on this poster is quite limited, it focuses on the brown and shades of greys. The brown background connotes naturalness and strength which implies Kirko Bangz has natural talent. The shades of greys are white, silver and black which are sleek and modern colours that go well with the hip hop genre as it is imparts a feeling of ornate riches.

The poster includes names of different cities under the magazine title and streets names at the bottom, this signifies that Kirko Bangz is widely famous all around the world.
