This is a map of Egypt the Red Sea is where Moses crossed all the slaves from Egypt.Egypt is where the Pyramids and the Sphinx are. I have been to Egypt it was about 50 degrees Celsius I was like a roast turkey!

The pharaohs had slaves and made them do all the work. slaves had to build the pyramids and make building s.When they were making the pyramids they had to carry tons of bricks you can now go and see the pyramids in Cairo

This is Tutankhamen's mask.When he died he got mummified. This is the mask that went over him. His tomb was discovered about 100 years ago.

By studying the sun and the stars, Egyptian scientists invented a calendar which had 365 days in a year. They used a sundial to tell the time of day and water clock to measure the hours the marks inside it tell the time.

This was so the body could wash away anything impure from coming with into the next life. 2 2. next the brain was removed 3 There were a few ways to do this, but the most popular one was wit h a hook,out through the nose! 4 3.next a long cut was made down along the left side of the body.here are all of the organs (stomach,lungs intestines,and liver) are removed 5 4. the body is then left in a large pile of natron ( a kind of salt for forty days this dried up the body,and took away almost all of the moisture..this is why mummies last so long..

5.At this stage, the mummy doesn`t Really look like how it did in life. The skin is softened with oils and make up put on.to restore the body to the proper shape, the embalmers stuff it with rags and sawdust
