This is an establishing shot so that the audience knows what the location is

This over the shoulder shot establishes Matthew as the main character and shows the location from his point of view. It also shows Matthews hat falling out his pocket.

Matthew is shown in this long shot as well as an object; this helps the audience to identify that the toy plane is within the narrative.

This low angle shot shows Matthew picking up the plane. The angle of the camera moves up so the audience can see his emotion.

This shot is edited (over exposed) so that the audience can clearly see that is is a flashback. Hand-held shot shows that Kieran and Matthew were once friends. This establishes the narrative.

The next close up shows the audience Matthew's emotions. Again, developing the narrative.

The over the shoulder shot of Matthew shows that now another character has appeared within the location. This makes the audience feel uneasy, yet intrigued.

This pan shot of Matthew shows the slower, uneasy movement as he begins walking up to the unknown character.

An over the shoulder shot shows Matthew tapping the other character on the shoulder, resulting in the audience feeling some suspense.

Another over the shoulder shot shows Matthew asking a question. The following shot shows Kieran's reaction and answer; this is called the action shot.

The dialogue is brief in this shot but it then cuts to the sister (Amy) running down the road, anxious to find her lost brother. We used a long shot in order to show all the movement.

The next shot is a low angle shot showing Amy finding her brother's hat on the floor. It then shows Amy looking worried showing that she is uncertain and nervous.

An over the shoulder shot is then used for the dialogue between Amy and Matthew. This shows the audience the narrative and that Matthew is the only one who can see the unknown character.

A close up shot shows Amy confused, implying that she cannot see this other character.

A long shot shows Amy pulling her brother away, again establishing the narrative.

An over the shoulder shot shows Amy and Matthew walking away concluding the scene.
