This music video straight away begins with a shot of a girls knickers and stomach which has a belly piercing which is likely to attract males. The girl is seen stroking the inside of her thigh. This is seen as a seductive action and therefore this music video already adheres to the stereotype that women are seen as sexual objects.

Also in this music video, girls are seen in their bras showing off their boobs and there are close up shots of female legs etc. This again, is very stereotypical for an R’n’B music video as girls are often seen in very little clothing so that the video appeals to men and makes the artist look like he/they ‘get girls’.

The scenery for this music video doesn’t adhere to the stereotypical street scene. It is set in what looks like a deserted dumping site. This is unusual as R’n’B music videos are often set on the street of places like New York etc. The overall effect of the video is quite a dark, dirty colour which adheres to a recent R’n’B stereotype as R’n’B music videos are becoming darker rather than colourful like a previous R’n’B music videos or pop videos.

In this music video there are props such as old vintage lampshades. These props are unusual to see in a R’n’B music video as R’n’B is usually seen as quite a modern genre so the fact antique style props have been used with close ups of rusty old walls subverts a stereotypical music video.

In this music video, The Weekend and Future are both fully covered up and have very little skin on show unlike the women featured in this music video. This is very stereotypically seen in R’n’B and emphasises the fact women are just sexual objects and nothing else.

At one point both artists are wearing camo patterned jackets and this relates to the army and this therefore emphasises a feeling of dominance and power by the males.

Also in this video, The Weekend and Future are seen in dark, fashionable clothing to show off their style. Future is seen wearing chains and this shows off wealth and this is very stereotypical for R’n’B artists.
