Professor Green- “Alive till I’m dead”

Page 2: analysis of digipack

Tattoo saying “Lucky” – which is underneath his scar, this could be because he’s lucky to still be alive

Scar, showing something bad might have happened to him yet it didn’t kill him. Hence the album name “alive till I’m dead” – showing what doesn’t kill him makes him stronger.

Alive till I’m dead could mean he doesn’t take his life for granted as it could be taken at any time, you never know what’s going to happen in the future.

His facial expression is serious which could mean he wants to be taken seriously. He’s also looking up and holding his head up high, which could mean he’s thinking about the future and leaving the past behind him and moving on with his life.

Parental advisory label, meaning this album is only suitable for people ages 18 and over, as there would be swearing in some of the songs.

This picture on the back cover shows him walking into the light. This could also show that he’s coming out of a dark period of his life and is now overcoming it and moving on, he’s in a happier place now.

“Light at the end of the tunnel.” He’s working towards the light and is leaving the bad things that have happened in his past behind him.

The track list is not the main feature on the back of this album, as it would be on other albums. The back cover focuses more on the picture of the artist.

The white writing of the track list stands out on the black background.

Barcode, meaning it is available to buy in shops.

Goodnight I kick flows, rips shows, think it switched though. Shit no, it aint any different when I get home. I shift po to get dough, lust P's.If you aint ever been broke? For you to judge me's an insult. It's my life an' I'm living it, agreed we all have choices but mine limited mostly by my decisions. If I new then what I new now, I'd a lived life different, I'd be a different me, but I didn't so this is me. Me, in my position what would you have done? Would you of done what I did? Am I what you would of become? My guess, my guess is you would of succumb like I did.The decision was mine, but I was too young an' I picked the wrong path, I went the wrong way.Left school then got the grade, banged it out, got my pape's.Stacked my p's copped a cake, I'm holding weight now, made a brick of a ounce an' aint been in the jail house.I intend on staying free, free for me don't mean free from stress.Lay in bed but I aint asleep, from I need rest I just blaze the trees. Drift off hearing my Nan say to me...

Where do we goRemember when it started, I tried to hold back, I didn't wanna get too into it, nor get too intimate.Tried to back off, but that back off? She's gorgeous! Five foot four an' three quarters, half Italian, half Japanese. An' she can make cars crash in them jeans. But she's so much more than a body, she's perfect.I knew it'd hurt but it was worth it, for when it was working weren't nothing like it, and to be honest its as in love as I've been ever. I never felt a love like this before, so why is it I feel so insecure?Fuck it, I'm taking the dive, nor more linking I'm making you mine, but.. Chorus Where do we go? Where do we go? Where do we go from here? Where do we go? Where do we go? Where do we go from here?Verse 2: its been a couple of months we've grown so tight so quick. I might just let you in, see I'm quite closed off. I got a lotta pain inside s'why I get high till I doze off, but I can change in time, at least I hope so.Cause it feels so right when I hold you, I wanna get inside I wanna know you, there's so much of it I wanna show youAn' though I'm scared to, I'm prepared to. Trust you as long you shared to, lucked up, both loved up, but little did we know we were both fucked up. The more open we were, the more vulnerable, which after a while weren't fun at all. It got deep and proceeded to change, I needed you an' you needed your space, what a waste.
