NA15 Analyser
Real time analysis of Ripple Waveforms
The NA15 analyser and the NAwin software can run in a real time mode displaying ripple signal waveforms and telegram information as they are being received. (See figure 1.1)
Figure 1.1
Real time analysis of Ripple Frequencies
The analyser provides sufficient waveform details for NAwin to estimate the centre frequency of the ripple transmitter. NAwin will compute a single fre-quency estimate for each received telegram allowing users to determine the frequency stability of their ripple generator. When selected NAwin also plots the spectrograph allowing users to determine if interference is affecting the ripple decoder. (See figure 1.2)
Figure 1.2
Storage of Telegram details
For the programmed ripple system, all telegrams received by the analyser are stored in non-volatile memory. These details include the decoded telegram, date, time and received signal strength. NAwin allows the user to look at all received telegrams, sorting on time of arrival, telegram or received signal strength. (See figure 1.3)
Figure 1.3
Storage of Ripple Signal Waveforms
The analyser stores the waveform to its non-volatile memory. Recording starts from the start bit and proceeds to the end of the telegram. In addition to the waveform other data such as the telegram, signal strength, date and time of the received signal is recorded. NAwin allows the user to view, print and export the received waveforms. (See figure 1.4)
Storage of Ripple Frequencies
When the analyser receives the start bit of a telegram it starts storing sufficient waveform details for NAwin to estimate the centre frequency of the ripple transmitter and identifies interfering harmonics. (See figure 1.5)
