Excursions

Hue is one of Vietnam’s highlights. Hue City was the Imperial Capital of the Nguyen Dynasty between 1802 and 1945, until which time it was also the National Capital. Today, it has earned a place as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Citadel protected the Forbidden Purple City where only the Nguyen Emperors, concubines and close associates were granted access.

Climate

The hottest months are from May to July. Such an ideal time for sunbathing and swimming under the sunshine. The average temperature differs from the low to high area. Near ocean, average temperature is estimated 24-25ºC. In summer, temperature may reach 28-29ºC. It is much hotter when the southwest monsoon comes, reaching up to 41ºC.
